Are there ways to "cross" or "join" data results in Google Analytics? Just as a for instance, I have a list of Referrals and a list of audience Location demographics. Is there a way to join those two lists, so that I know where site referrals are visiting from? (Generally, are there resources which list "pro tips" for getting the most out of Analytics?)

I'm looking to research consumer demographics for a couple of specific businesses. For instance, Who goes to Disney World or Cirque du Soleil (age, race, income, city/state of origin, etc.)? I realize this is pretty basic stuff, but it is not anything I've done before and I'm coming up empty.

I'm looking for resources that clearly spell out the advantages and disadvantages of being born during a 'demographic trough' (when the birthrate of a generation is lower than the birthrate before and after that period). US-centered materials are preferred but any data points concerning other developed nations info is good, too.

I have conducted some research and need to compare the basic demographics I've collected (age, highest level of education, household income, number of children, employment status) to official statistics for England. I know this info exists, I had it a few months ago, but google-fu is failing me because of the hours I've spent staring at my screen and reams of data wrangling today.
Does anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks!

I have a wonderfully large dataset that I'm working with for a long-term project. I am analyzing a small section the dataset for my masters thesis. In meeting with my thesis advisor last week, she suggested I run some statistical tests of significance on the 4 tables I'm working with. She knows that I am yet to be versed in quantitative analysis methods (I've done solely qualitative work thus far) and that I'm under a massive time crunch to get this done. She suggested I seek help from others, as she doesn't want me to get bogged down with figuring out this step, and would rather I concentrate on analyzing the other aspects of this data. To this end, I'm wondering if somebody might be able to suggest the best type of test of significance to run, the easiest way to run it, and a good, simple resource for what the resultant values mean?

Can you point me to any specifics about which book cover designs or designs in general appeal more to people aged 18 to 34? I have an author with a book she feels will appeal to that demographic, and she wants to optimize the book cover design to best attract that group's attention. Barring that, are there any best seller lists that are broken down by age, especially self-help/career types of books?

I am looking for research data on demographic trends of customers of companies that have opted to install solar energy systems on their buildings. My hypothesis is that companies who invest in solar will attract a more affluent customer to the desired call to action than companies in the same industry, all other things being equal. I am interested in any data pertaining to manufacturing, retail, medical, commercial office, etc. applications. Any ideas of where I can find any secondary research that has been done on solar (or renewable) energy demographics? Thank you!

It sure seems like this data would be useful to some product research firm, or manufacturer, or product developer. Is it? Do any of those companies ever buy datasets like this?

After reading hundreds of blogs (Why, oh why?), I’ve come to the conclusion that a big number of the people who write about their own financial situation, explicitly or indirectly tell of how broke they are; Like
Jim Anchower, many describe low wages and bad jobs, job losses and unemployment, crashing bills, life in apartments with roommates who don’t care and having a hard time paying rents & bills, etc. I understand that the
real median household income in 2003 was $43,318 (US), and I know that times are hard for most people. Still, is the average blogger poorer than the average person?
