I have a pretty large spreadsheet in Excel which I use to combine information from everyone in my department for monthly statistics. They all fill out the same spreadsheet, then I have links from all those to mine, with formulas adding everything up. I want to remove the links to one file while leaving the rest, without losing the formulas that contains the links.

I have a bunch of undeletable podcasts on my iphone 4s that I would like to get rid off but can't.

this happened because the downloads failed (blame the craptastic chinese mobile connections). I cannot redownload these episodes, I cannot play them, I cannot swipe-to-delete them, I cannot see them in itunes. a restore was no help because my last backup already had these "ghost files" on them.
I don't want to wipe the iphone because maps in ios6 is even worse in china.
do you know how I can still get rid of these unusable files?

Knew it, shouldn't have indulged in the whim of this "pinterest" nonsense. I click "unlink" for Facebook, save, nothing happens. I get redirected to the main page, facebook photo and friendlinks intact. I get so frustrated I choose "delete account"....again, nothing happens. Redirected back to my main page, self's facebook photo serenely mocking me.

Email Filter of my Dreams?
I get daily emails from some websites like Groupon and Mint that are only useful for one day or one week, is there anyway that I can set my gmail account to automatically delete or at least filter these messages after a specific time period (ie 24 hours)? If I set up a regular filter then these messages skip my BlackBerry inbox. Halp me?

I'm designing a webpage that will have a list of items and each item can be deleted. I was thinking to have the delete command be link to a URL that does the delete when called. But then I realized maybe that isn't safe since a spider following links might cause things to be deleted. What is the proper design for this type of thing?

So for some unknown reason (probably I hit enter when I wasn't looking), Windows has decided to plunk down a 'Windows Service Pack Setup' file, update.exe on my external, USB, media HDD. I don't want it there. If it were as simple as right click-delete i wouldn't be here, and neither would the file.

My computer is refusing to let me delete a fairly large file. It's an mpeg movie file I downloaded from Limewire (have mercy, MPAA)! Whenever I try to delete the file, I get a message claiming the file is in use by another program, but I don't see any programs running in task manager that would be using this file. The file is in my documents folder. Any thoughts on how this stubborn mpeg can be deleted?

MysqlFilter: I need someone with mighty mysql-Fu to help me out here.
I have a list of items stored in my database (60 or so per user), they get sent to the flash application that I have, then once the user is done with everything, they press "save" (20 to 60 times a day), and it saves the list of items back to the database. I was doing an insert on duplicate update, but this doesnt get rid of the items that may have been deleted.
