What info is made public when filing an LLC for Foreign Qualification in NY?

What information is made public when filing an LLC for Foreign Qualification in New York? I'm forming an LLC and would like to make it as difficult as possible to find my personal information in relation to it. I live in New York, but for privacy reasons I'd like to incorporate in Delaware (AFAIK members/stockholders are not required to be made public). Is my name going to be plastered all over public documents as soon as I file for Foreign Qualification in NY? Should I just start my LLC in New York instead and save a few hundred dollars? I'm looking to put as many hurdles as possible between myself and the public - 100% privacy would be nice but isn't completely necessary.

My "business" is just going to be a web site that will probably generate some revenue via ads.

IKYANML, but since this is a privacy question and not a business/legal question I feel strangers on the internet are a better ROI than lawyering up at this point. Secret mail can go to supersecretllctime@gmail.com

Cheap travel from Delaware to NYC?

What are the cheapest ways to get from Newark, Delaware, to New York City? I'm a research assistant at the University of Delaware and as part of a long and wonkish I-95 corridor project, we've decided to produce a map or informational pamphlet letting students know the cheapest ways to get from here (Newark, Delaware) to New York City.

A few things to keep in mind:
1. Any mode of transportation is fair game (air, rail, highway, seaports, etc.), as is any type of vehicle (plane, train, automobile, bus, shoes, etc.).
2. Be creative, but within reasonable limits of safety (i.e., no airmailing oneself).
3. It's alright if many of the suggested travel methods begin in Philadelphia (and maybe even Baltimore) if these departure points are more familiar to you.
4. Cost is the most important factor, although I don't want to discourage that outlandish teleportation idea you've been waiting to uncork.

After we've completed the map or pamphlet, I'll contact each of the contributors about mailing them a finished product. Thank you.

Where to stay for Punkin Chunkin 2007

PumpkinFilter: Finally, after years of longing, I am attending Punkin Chunkin 2007. I was raised in the area (well, Maryland) and want to show off the awesomeness of Mid-Atlantic+geek+engineer+redneck that is my neck of the woods to my SO. I mean, I am going to be attending regardless with my Whiskey Tango friends, but I would like to be able to make available to him a semi-fancy-pants hotel environment to retire to each night. He can be delicate in unpredictable ways.
I'm all over hotel.com and whatnot trying to find a place, but the cosy special places are never online - they're too small. These are the places I want, of course.
Any ideas? Phone numbers? I would love to wow him with something super-eccentric and local. That is our kind of thing.
(Punkin Chunkin just moved to Bridgeville for 2007, btw.)

Anyone know anything about the Eastern Shore of Maryland or southern Delaware?

Anyone know anything about the Eastern Shore of Maryland or southern Delaware area? My wife and I are relocating in six months around the area of Salisbury, Maryland or southern Delaware. While we have found all of the usual government sites on the area that make it sound like heaven on earth, we really want to hear from people who have been there or who live in the area. We hope to get any and all information about the area and Mefites are the only people I trust on the web:

Info Needed About:
*People/Culture—Will we be accepted by the locals if we are friendly? Will we never be able to fully connect?

*Maryland taxes—are they high? Cheaper to live in Delaware? Is there a commuting tax penalty?

*Areas with low crime near Salisbury (30-60 min commute o.k.) Any info on drug/gang activity? What towns should I avoid?

*Things to watch for if I’m buying a house there (Flooding? Strange molds? Etc…)

*General year round weather?

*Private/Public Schools in the area where I might enjoy employment as a teacher? Ones that I should run from?

*Any other information that you think a transplant might find useful.

Thanks, everyone. If I can’t count on you, I can’t count on anyone!

Campsite recomendations for the Delaware River area?

Campsite recommendations for the Delaware River area? I'm planning on going camping for a long weekend at the end of August with 6 to 8 people (age range is 29-35, no children). We'd like a campground that doesn't feel too crowded, is accessible by car but is tent camping only (no RVs), and is on the river.

We're also planning on taking a day trip on the river via canoe or kayak, so boating outfitter and route recomendations would also be apprecaited. Thanks!
