crouton car filter: 1985 Pontiac Parisienne, north Delaware area. Stored in garage, but hasn't run for years. I'd like to see it go to a better use than junked so that a random non-profit can make a few bucks selling it to be squished at a junk yard.

Traveling during March to North Carolina, Crystal Coast/Southern Outer Banks region, from NYC metro area. Instead of inland, though, we're taking the coastal route (Rts 13/17 south of Philly) with an overnight stay in Delaware. Looking for non-chain restaurants, hiking, history/science, and the cheaper end of antiquing.

Where can my new husband and I eat dinner on Christmas Eve in the Brandywine Valley or in Wilmington proper? Bonus points for romantic atmosphere, since it's our honeymoon. Not an option: Krazy Kat's, Buckley's Tavern.

The BF and I are planning a 1 or 2 night trip from Philly to Rehoboth Beach in December or January as a holiday getaway (and to visit the Dogfish Head Brewery). We're looking for somewhere to stay that would be both affordable and cozy for a winter weekend, and preferably something within walking distance of the boardwalk. We like inns and B&Bs over hotel/motel chains, and have searched google but would love some more personal recommendations. Anyone have advice for somewhere nice, with character, for under $150 per night?
Also, any suggestions for other activities to do in the area? Will the boardwalk still be active that time of year?

My sister is going through a short sale in the state of Delaware. She's received two offers. One is fairly conventional, the person will put down 25% and finance the rest. He's offered $120k. The other offer is all cash, as is, no contingencies - but only $93,000.

Delaware beaches (Rehoboth/Bethany): anyone know how the jellyfish (sea nettle) populations are this weekend? Are we likely to get stung a lot tomorrow?

I'm moving soon to the Newark, DE region for a job, and I would like to know about the best places to live in the area. I don't know anything about the region; I don't even know if Newark itself is a fun place to live (is it?).
I currently live in Boston and would prefer a semi-urban environment to an urban one. I'm willing to commute a bit if necessary; for example, one idea is to live closer to Philly, but if I did that, would traffic be bad? I would be going the opposite direction of most commuters, I think.

We have close friends visiting next weekend (April 16) and are looking for some new fun things/events in Delaware (or as far as Philly/maybe Baltimore for something truly exceptional). More specifically, theatre (especially slightly avant garde) would be great.
