a semi-formal dress taken in, and darts put into women's dress shirts.
Seeking a reasonably-priced tailor in Toronto, ideally on the TTC line.
Favorite place to throw a round / drink a round in Chicago?

Where's a good place to play darts in Chicago? Darts in Chicago bars are not nearly as ubiquitous as when I was living in Wisconsin -- but maybe that's because I'm not looking in the right places. Right now, we're playing at a Polish tap room on the near North side, but my pals are looking for a change of venue. Any suggestions? We'd like to stick around the Roscoe Village, St. Ben's, Albany Park or Lincoln Square neighborhoods.

I'm trying to find a place to a really nice set of steel tipped darts/flights/case in New York City. There used to be a great store in the low 20's on the East Side. Does anyone know a place?

Last Minute Travel Advice

LastMinuteVacationFilter: Denver/Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tucson We leave tomorrow night for Denver (staying downtown) and then from Denver on Tuesday for Arizona (staying in Scottsdale). I need recommendations on: pool halls or bars with pool tables, bars with steel tip dart boards, karaoke, public transportation, availability of taxis in downtown areas, good steak houses, good restaurants that are not mexican or tex-mex, and other things worth mentioning.

I have read other threads on Denver and, even though the food may not be good, we're going to Casa Bonita. That's where my 9th birthday party (last one while living in Denver) was. That, and my SO saw it in South Park. We also may be visiting Elway's in Denver.

Where can I find an excellent darts bar?

Can anybody provide recommendations on an ideal bar for playing darts in Manhattan? I have a holiday party coming up for work, and I am looking for ideal locations to play darts in Manhattan. We will be coming from midtown; however, anywhere in Manhattan is do-able.

I have a rather large list of bars that offer entertainment in the form of darts:

Dart bars in New York

However that list is very long with no details for each bar. I am looking for a darts bar where I can rent a room/area for several hours (3 hours) with at least three dart boards and enough room to host 10 - 20 people comfortably, so we are not looking for some hole in the wall bar with a few boards. I would like to avoid a David Busters like place and would prefer something a bit more authentic.

Does anybody have any suggestions or personal references for excellent dart bars that meet these requirements?

What are/where can I buy good, inexpensive darts?

What's a good set of darts for the recreational player, and where can I buy them (reasonably) cheap? My housemates and I have always relied on the cheapest darts available at the local sporting goods store, but as we've all gotten better (and worn out the cheap darts), we've each started to look towards buying personal sets.

Pre-packaged sets are fine, as is shopping for components separately. Fancy gadgets would be nice (movable point, spinning tip, etc), but I feel that, given my skill level, they'll probably do more to intimidate my housemates than actually improve my game (which isn't bad, but not the point). I'm looking for something at least 20g, any material, any colors, probably small/medium sized shafts.

Price: I'm capping this at $50, and I'd like to even keep it below $30, if possible. When I get better, I'll buy more expensive darts.

Any questions I should be asking to help guide my selection would also be greatly appreciated.
