Galleries of awesome pure CSS web designs using no/few images?

I'm looking for a showcase/inspiration gallery of imageless (or at least minimal graphics) pure CSS web designs. I figured this would totally have been done as a "Top X" list somewhere, but it doesn't seem to exist. Not necessarily "minimalist" design, but what can be done with great colour, layout, typography, and clever CSS. [more inside]

Aquify Safari 3 form elements?

What should I put in a custom browser stylesheet to override and Aquify all web form element styles (buttons, text fields, etc.) in Safari 3.0.4? I'd like to undo custom properties like colors, fonts, and borders, and make all form elements display natively, using Aqua, like Safari used to do in previous versions. I'm essentially looking for the opposite answer to this question, using a custom userContent.css-esque stylesheet. (Thanks for your help.)

Myspace CSS hex-code woes

I'm having trouble using hex codes in my myspace CSS style sheets. When I enter the hex # (example "color: #99FF33") then save, the text i've entered is somehow automatically changed to "color: #99FF33" and the color remains unchanged. What is causing this? Is there a work around?

Inline Block Elements

HTML / CSS Gurus. I have a TABLE with a bunch of dynamic columns. The table may have 4, 7, or 20 columns. Each table column HEADER ( TH tag ) contains two inline elements, 1) a tiny image icon for sorting, and 2) a column description in text. I would like these two elements to sit next to each other and NEVER ON SEPARATE LINES, essentially putting them into an inline-block. Unfortunately, if the text in the corresponding TD tags are below a certain width, the browser will force the width of the column, and subsequently force the two inline elements of the TH onto two different lines. How can I prevent this from happening in IE & Firefox without explicitly declaring the width of the columns. I have to use a IMG element for my icons, and not a css background-image.

Can I make different categories of link text on a web page show as "unvisited" after different intervals?

With Javascript, CSS or anything else, can I make different categories of link text on the same web page behave differently? Specifically, if I wanted to make a page listing some links I need to visit daily, some I need to visit weekly and some I need to visit monthly -- could I make each category of link text change from "visited" color back to "unvisited" color after the appropriate number of days? Or if this can't be done, how would you solve this need (in a visual way, rather than just "keep a list manually of when you visit each")?

Kris-Kross Site Scripting

Help explain how a hacker could perform a XSS exploit. This article explains how a bad-guy could send a malicious query through an unvalidated searchbox and essentially modify the html on the search results page. What I don't understand is how the hacker could have this malicious code display on a page that I am browsing. Except for unvalidated forum posts, how can a hacker inject malicious code into a webpage. If I ensure that my forum posts don't allow HTML and I am not loading external js files, what do I have to worry about?

I need suggestions for getting over my CSS block

I have found it impossible to grasp the concept of CSS. A friend taught me to hand code HTML, then I taught myself how to use Dreamweaver. I love HTML and design nice looking sites that are full of tables, repeated font tags, etc. I really want and need to move on. I want to learn CSS, but it just does not sink into my pea-brain. I've tried various online tutorials but just can't stay interested, mainly because I get lost pretty quickly into the tutorial. Certainly it can't be that difficult, what can I do to make this easier for me to absorb?
