How do I override CSS from inside the BODY of the website?

How do I override a website's CSS with a snippet in the body? The most common example of this would be the elaborate re-designs people do to MySpace pages using the profile field, though I've seen it elsewhere (even, briefly, here.) [more inside]

Why is css doing this to me?

CSS popups?

CSSPopupFilter. I adore parenthetical comments, but they clutter up my writing, so in one of my projects, I pulled them out as endnotes. Then I discovered a clever way of doing them as css popups. But am I happy? No. [mi] [more inside]
