The front passenger speaker and window control stopped working on my Ford Crown Victoria. The front passenger power lock switch is working fine. The window itself works normally and I can lower it from the driver side control panel.
I had to take the whole dashboard apart earlier to replace a heater core so I unplugged a lot of wires. What did I miss when putting it back together? Where do I look?

I have fillings that need to be replaced, and I need to decide whether I want amalgam or composite fillings. I may also need a new crown, and I need to decide whether I want the basic option or to upgrade. How do I decide?

So, I cracked one of my lower molars and it now needs to be crowned. My dentist is planning to perform a root canal on the tooth before crowning it, but I'm not sure if it is necessary.

I will be having a root canal soon, but the dentist has told me that the damage to the tooth may not be treatable by the root canal, and that other action may be necessary. He's given me a few options to consider, and has asked me to pick one.

My dentist inserted my permanent crown in a temporary fashion due to my tooth's uncertainty about whether it likes all of this intrusive behaviour - how long to wait to see if it will settle down? Potentially triggering dental details inside.

A rear molar (#30 for you dental fans) had a chip missing but was otherwise asymptomatic but my dentist recommended a gold crown before the tooth broke and caused greater problems. I followed his advise and while wearing the temporary crown I noticed a new, distinct and very painful sensitivity to cold. He dismissed it as a fluke and installed the permanent crown, but the sensitivity remains and now I can't eat anything frozen without agony. He x-rayed the tooth and found no structural issues, nor did he find any leaks in the seating. He claims that the problem is just routine cold sensitivity and advised aggressive fluoride, but with no prior problem isn't it more likely that he screwed up something and, if so, what?

I just replaced the radiator on my 2002 Ford Crown Victoria. I filled the coolant reservoir to the cold fill line. Now, if I let the car warm up for 10 minutes, coolant starts leaking out from under the upper radiator hose where it meets the radiator. The hose looks solid, and the hose clamp is on pretty tight so I assume the pressure is just getting really high. Also, if I open up the coolant reservoir cap, liquid coolant starts coming out, not steam. The coolant isn't even that hot. I can stop the radiator hose leak by reducing the amount of coolant in the reservoir, but the coolant level needs to be way way below the cold fill line for that. What is going on? What should I do?

Dental filter: I just visited a dentist who told me that I chipped one of my molars and that I'd need a crown for it. He said that since I'm not really having pain associated with it (it's a little sensitive, but that's it) I don't need to have a root canal. Is getting a crown instead of a root canal wise?

I need to have a root canal, build-up and crown done on a molar - almost $2,000 worth of work. I have no dental insurance. Is there any private dental insurance I can buy, either in Idaho or New Jersey, that doesn't have a waiting period for this kind of work?

My girlfriend's dentist is pushing her to get a crown on a tooth with several fillings. I'm skeptical because she has no pain, he doesn't see anything wrong with it, and he pushed her last year too. Should she listen to him, get a second opinion (any suggestions for Portland, OR?), or ignore him?

My girlfriend's crown came off one of her molars, and it was damaged. She went to a dentist who reshaped the stump, made a new crown and replaced it. Since then (3 weeks) it came off once, she's been in excruciating pain the whole time, and now the dentist says she might need a root canal. Is this bad dentistry, or to be expected, and is there any recourse?

I'm having an issue with my tooth. The root canal I had on my broken tooth in 2005 was supposed to get crowned eventually, but that was $800 that I didn't have.
Anyway, the filling that was put in was temporary, and it's been wearing down over the last 2 years...
