I did a Google search and came up with a link to a Craigslist posting, but the post is expired. Obviously, Google has the text of this because it shows me snippets of it in the search result list, but there is no "Cached" link for me to see it. How can I get this info out of Google or Craigslist? Or, alternatively, is there a website that has cached versions of Craigslist posts? The post in question is ten days old.

I'm relocating to LA from Chicago next month. I've been looking on Craigslist for apartments, and I'm leery of the accuracy of the lister's location descriptions. I've gotten plenty of advice as to what neighborhoods to look in, but I really don't know if I'm actually looking in those places.

Is there a scam here that I'm not seeing? I'm planning to buy a Mac Mini off Craigslist for a family member. Found a Mac, it's a good price for this model, maybe a little low, but not suspiciously so. Local seller, responsive to e-mail. Local cellphone number. Gmail address that doesn't appear to be a throwaway. But something doesn't feel right. I've bought electronics in this price range off Craigslist before but the seller in this case seems to be providing an atypical amount of reassurance about the purchase.

I'm about to list a relatively expensive item on Craigslist (asking ~$700) and have been reading up on all of the different
scam horror stories and what _not_ to do. I'm only going to be dealing with someone in person, and I won't accept any wire transfers, cashier checks or money orders because of the high abuse potential, but I'm not sure what this leaves as viable alternatives for what I _should_ do to receive payment.

I live right between two locations on Craigslist. Posting an ad to one region means it won't show up on the other, though they are both equally distant and I want people from both areas to see.
I want to cross post, but there's a warning that the posting might be flagged/removed. Should I worry about this, or go ahead anyway? This isn't spam, and it's also my first time posting on the site.

If you search for sofas or sofa sets on Seattle's Craigslist, you see a lot of new sofas--many leather--being sold "out of the box," "original packaging," etc. for well below retail. Though the sellers are different, often the pictures are similar, like a scan out of a brochure. Anyone have any experience with this, or know what the deal is?
