I'm having endless amounts of trouble posting a job offering on Craigslist. The job is real and legitimate (I just posted it on MeFi jobs too) but for the past few weeks every-time I try to put it up though my post does indeed goes live it doesn't show up in the feed and I get no responses. Why is this happening? How do I get around it?

I've got this
aluminum alley door (28" x 70"
avec mounting door post), that I don't want. I'm told solid aluminum doors like this are expensive, which made me wonder if I could sell it. Which, because I can't seem to find anything comparable on the net, brings me in turn to my question: what should I ask for it when I post it on Craig's List? And if there's a better way to sell it than Craig's List (such as selling it to a scrap dealer), please enlighten me.

[ScamFilter] I never sell on Craigslist but I did put something up for sale. I got this response. Is this a scam?
Thanks for your response. I'm going on a vacation to London but I will instruct my assistant to prepare and mail your payment which I'm sure you will get in about 4 - 6 business days. I'll add $20 extra for the delay. I'll pay by M O or cashier check so send me your info (i.e full name, mailing address and your phone number) so payment can be mailed out immediately. I will also make arrangement for pick-up which will be after you must have received and cashed the payment.
Awaiting your info.
Thanks
My gut says it is but can't figure the angle.

I've been looking for a specific, older car model and found one on Craigslist in beautiful condition. It's in Philadelphia, I'm in New York. I'm going this week to look at it / buy it.
I think the guy is asking too much for it. Some people I've asked say don't discuss price until you show up, but I'm not sure if that's right. How do I do this?

I am an academic economist who studies the economics of underground markets, particularly methamphetamine markets and (separately) commercial sex markets in the United States.
One of the things I'm currently studying is various aspects of Craigslist's entry into the commercial sex markets in US cities over time. In November of 2008, Craigslist adopted a new rule that required everyone to pay $5-10 per advertisement posted to their "erotic services" section.
This article supports this claim:
