Where are all the crafters at?

Where in Brooklyn can I go with my crafts projects to hang out with other people who are working on their crafts projects, for free? I'm working on a number of portable crafts projects right now and I'd love to get out of the house and be with other people who are working on their own projects.

I grown fond of a brand of apple whiskey that comes in these sturdy glass bottles (image), and now I have quite the collection of empty bottles.
