So my wife sent me a
picture of the back of her old iPhone 3GS, which she uses to listen to Internet radio through the stereo at work. She said, "It looks like something is fighting its way out of the case." Can anyone tell me what's going on?

How can I make the topcase (wrist area) of my 2006 white Macbook stop cracking? I have had Apple replace this part twice, and it has cracked yet again. There is a way for me to solve this problem. I know there is.

I am vacating my room--one bedroom in a multi-bedroom apartment. So that potential future occupants like what they see and want to sublet said room, I would like to fill the tack holes I left in the drywall. Plus, there are several long, very thin cracks that have formed on the walls over the past eight years. How do I give the room a cheap but passable make-up job? What materials will I need to pick up?

My lawn, both front and back yard, is developing rather large cracks in the soil. How can I close these up and ensure no damage is being done to the foundation?

Every freaking joint in my body cracks, and I have a (pseudo-) neurotic need to do so on a daily basis. With the knuckles, it's just habit; with the neck and back, I genuinely feel very stiff unless I do so. Am I damaging my body in some way? Most of the advice I've heard on this issue has been from people with an agenda (i.e., they are annoyed by it) so I don't trust them.
