Help me find good international music

I'm responsible for providing music for a local soccer tournament styled after the World Cup. It is a celebration of the various cultures of the immigrant communities here, and I'd like to play as much music from the participating countries as possible. Can you help? I have asked the team captains to help out, but I don't want to rely on them as they have many other responsibilities between now and the weekend. The countries represented in this year's tournament are Columbia, Macedonia, Ecuador, Ireland, Brazil, Iraq, Jamaica, Guatemala, Iran, Liberia, Albania, Togo, Ghana, and El Salvador.

It's non-profit and I'm a volunteer committee member, so free music would be wonderful. Music available via Amazon, iTunes, and emusic would otherwise be preferable because I have accounts on those sites already.

Champagne from a coupe or flute? Or how about a handy mug?

When did the champagne flute become the norm over the champagne coupe? After watching a bunch of old MGM movies, I noticed the actors were drinking champagne out of coupes as opposed to flutes. When did flutes become de rigeur?

Searching old AskMes, I found this comment by chrismear: As an aside, the reason for the traditional coupe was that it was used to serve the sweeter, almost dessert champagne that they drank back then. As everyone says, it's not right for the dry style of champagne we have today.

Was the switch to the flute due to dry champagne production? Were there always dry and dessert types of champagne and dry became more trendy at some point between the early 1900s and now? Or did dry bust on the scene in 19xx and it became popular?

I would like to know the historical context, if there is any, as well as the, uh, wine science reason.

(I have a beginner level knowledge of wine and glassware.)

Coolest late model 4cyl Coupe under 20k

I am looking for the coolest, sharpest, most sporty Coupe or Convertible that is a 4 Cyl. up to 5 years old that would cost under 20k today that can come in automatic (or some version of SMT) I am aware of the Toyota MR2 Spyder ... and the Eclipse.. but I am not a huge fan of the latter... and would like more options then just the prior! Thanks! 4 cyl because i am 21 and insurance is crazy, but they seem to go much easier on the 4 knockers out there. And I live in Los Angeles so traffic is a bitch and an auto is a must.

Should I Buy This Karman Ghia?

I've just moved out to san fran and feel like i need a convertible. found a sweet little Karman Ghia for 5 grand. Has anybody had any experience with these good/bad/ugly?

oh, and how long has ask metafilter been here? (pretty damn cool)
