CostumeFilter: I'm making my own henchman costume this Halloween, and I'll be driving past downtown LA tomorrow morning. Are there any specific stores I should check out if I'm looking for cheap generic clothes? I'm looking for solid color plain long-sleeve shirts, sweatpants, things of that nature. Bonus points if I can find gloves and cheap generic boots. [more inside]

I'm looking for a good costume idea for my friend and I. She's a redhead who has been lots of famous redheads in the past (lucy, carrot top, Annie, pippi longstockings, pebble, etc) and I'm a blonde.
I'm looking for us to dress up as cartoon characters, relevent pop culture references, historical figures etc. that were blonde and redhead. No suggestion is too obscure! Please let me know what you think! (we've already nixed Lucy and Ethel) [more inside]

My sister is going to a SNL themed Halloween party. She needs ideas for "obscure, I mean so obscure that people are like 'Wow that is obscure!' "I told her that not many SNL characters are that obscure and if they are, no one's going to get it anyway. Yet being my sister I feel I should help her. I suggested Rosanne Rossana Danna, but that was not obscure enough. So I turn to the green.

I would like to wear a bear costume for Halloween, but the only storebought options I have found on eBay and elsewhere online haven't quite matched what I'm looking for.
This is basically what I'm after, as a reference.
Or possibly even this one
or this one.
If anyone out there knows where to find something similar that would fit a 5'9" 130 lb person, I would be thankful (bonus points if I can buy it in the Vancouver, BC area)
Full disclosure: I plan on drinking beer from a growler with 'Honey' written on it.

My senior class voted me 'most likely to be a super villain' for the superlative section of the yearbook. I need to throw something together to wear in the picture, and I was hoping someone could help me. People are expecting me to come up with something really good, and everything I can think of is a little mediocre.
Can you guys think of anything funny/ cool for a high school girl dressing up as a super villain?

I've been trying to find an image of Helena Bonham Carter in the picnic scene of Sweeney Todd. Or, more specifically, the pinstripe corset she was wearing in that scene.
Having no luck so far, as every image online is of the dress she wears for most of the begining of the movie.
Am I stuck waiting for the DVD?
