Do you know any easy-to-make cookie (or just dessert) recipes that have no eggs? Bonus points if there are no ingredients that would require a trip to the grocery store (no buttermilk, no special chocolate, no fancy egg-substitute, etc.).

Can anyone actually make six dozen cookies based on the cookie recipe? I can, at best, get three dozen. Unless I use a half teaspoon measure and make cookies sized for Lilliputian midgets, there's no way I get six dozen. Is it me? Is it the lying liars that make these recipes? Betty Crocker, et al, constantly put expectations of dozens of cookies that always come to naught (naught being 24 - 30 cookies). Chipits, j'accuse!

What is wrong with my chocolate chip cookies? I make the recipe off the back of the chocolate chip bag, or from different cookbooks... it doesn't matter. Every time, they spread out too much and get too thin. It isn't pretty. They taste sort of OK, but what might I be missing?

I lived in London for a while and fell in love with the fresh-baked cookies from Sainsbury's. They came in a pack of 5 for .99p (as I remember). There were double chocolate and chocolate chip versions and they always seemed to be soft and delicious. The problem is I just can't seem to find a cookie that stacks up to the ones from Sainsbury's. Anyone have any recommendations? I live in New York City. Or, even better, anyone know the recipe for Sainsbury's cookies? Even just knowing the name of these cookies (if there is one) would help in my quest. Thanks.

Firefox question: Why do my cookies for sites such as the Washington Post or New York Times keep disappearing? I can not say for sure, but it seems time related - if I do not visit the site in a few weeks all of a sudden it is asking for my login info. Is there some way to prevent this?

http://technoerotica.net used to have a site listing all the cookie opt-out pages, and I found it very handy. I went looking for it and was dismayed to find it gone. Is there any other site like that? My google-fu is weak. Metafilter please hope me.
