Where can I rent a convertible this summer in the twin cities? We're hoping to rent a convertible for 3 or 4 days in July for our wedding. Nothing super special or specific, just a fun car to have available before and after the wedding and to drive off from the ceremony in. None of the standard car rental places seem to have convertibles available on-line.

Help me decide between two vehicles--both 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertibles, same price. One's a Touring (V6) with 15k miles; one's a LX (V4) with 5k miles. Leaning towards the LX but the dealer is telling me I'll enjoy the V6 more that comes with the Touring. [more inside]

I want a Mini Cooper. I want a convertible Mini Cooper. My wife tells me convertibles are a bad idea. (Especially in Oregon.) I'm not convinced. Hasn't convertible technology advanced to a point where they're pretty hassle-free? Help me convince her a convertible is a fine idea!

Where can I wash my convertible? I bought a '92 Infiniti M30 convertible recently. The original soft top (plastic window) is on it. I live in an apartment building, and can't wash my own car, except at a wash-it-yourself place, which is kinda far from my house. That said, there are tons of car washes here in LA at all levels of automation. Can I bring my car to a traditional carwash? The kind that drop the soap on the car from on top but they wash it with towels? What about the automated kind? I've never owned a convertible, I need some guidelines.

This question is for my friend. He's looking to buy a more fuel efficient car (he gets 10-12 mpg from his Suburban—wants more like 20-25). He is looking at Volvo cars, specifically the 2000-2002 S60's, S70's, and C70's. Evidently the convertible models from the early 2000's weren't that safe. Looking to spend $11 grand or less. What information do you have about these Volvo models? What should he look out for? Are their similar convertibles to the C70 with similar MPG and better safety/maintenance records?

So I left my Z3's top down the other night, and the next morning the interior was soaked. I've toweled everything down and have been driving around with the heat on full blast, but some areas have still not dried and I don't want no mildewy car.

i have a Saab convertible and Washington DC requires a hands-free when using the mobile telephone. Any recommendations on a headset that will maximally cut out the wind noise artifact so that I can ride "top down"? Many of the commercial sets that I have tried still have a lot of noise due to wind.
