How can I insure my laptop and camera in a student house?

What is the best plan for insuring my laptop and camera in my private rented accomadation with 2 other students in Nottingham, UK? The general move seems to be just use Endsleigh Student Contents Insurance. The problem with this is that it has a minimum of £2000 of possesions insurance which doesn't include my camera and laptop, so I have to add them afterwards when really that is all I want insured.

I have looked at non student contents insurance, but they seem to only allow it if you or your family live in the building. I have looked at insuring my laptop and camera individually, not contents insurance, but the problem with this is that walk in thefts are not covered like with the Endsleigh cover, and though I know I will always lock the door, I can't say the same about my housemates, and Nottingham is very big for oppurtunistic thefts with open windows/doors.

Any other ideas about specific insurers who I can get a decent policy which will cover accidental damage, theft, loss and all that, both at home and out and about for my macbook (£900) and D60 plus lenses (18 - 55, 55 - 200, 50; which equals about £650).

Order my contents?

How can I create a table of contents for a professional portfolio that contains a collection of material gathered from various sources? I have to submit a professional portfolio for my education certification. It will contain newly created annotations and artifacts/examples of my work. Some of the documents were written years ago, and some of the artifacts are examples of handouts and student work. I will be creating tabbed sections, but the table of contents is a required item. I'm not completely satisfied because of the various fonts used throughout the collection of work, but I don't have complete control over that.
I had thought of scanning in the entire collection (all on 8 1/2x11) and somehow numbering and reprinting everything. I have also considered using stickers or something similar that may be made for this purpose (although I don't know what that would be, if they exist). I am afraid it would look tacky.
Is there an accepted method for accomplishing this?
Thanks all!

How to generate a TOC in Word.

How can I automatically create a table of contents in MS Word? There's got to be a better way... I have over a hundred pages of notes for my classes (first-year law school). They're outlined using MS Word's default bullet outline setup, with some case headings in bold and others in italics. I figured out (somewhat ham-handedly) how to set up a TOC, but it seems like I have to flag each line that I want to appear in the TOC manually. Is there any way to have the left-most tabbed line in the outline show up in a linked TOC?

What's in a "Go Bag"?

What's in Val Kilmer's "Go Bag" in the movie Spartan? In the great movie Spartan (insert difference of opinion here) Val Kilmer plays a kind of special forces agent, with small bag he refers to (in the excellent commentary) as a "Go Bag" and says that it contains everything tha a real special forces dude would have in such a bag. Can anyone enlighten me what would be in there?
