I dutifully label "conversations" in Gmail, and would now like to e-mail everyone with whom I've ever corresponded with on one such labeled topic. Is there any way to automatically generate a huge cc/bcc list from all the conversations under a label?

Two months ago, I switched to contacts after 20 years of wearing glasses. Ever since I started wearing them, I'm always tired. Related? Have you had this problem? Is there a solution?

OK - I just bought an iMac to replace our dying Windows machine at home. I've successfully moved over almost everything - email (thanks to
emailchemy), bookmarks, contacts, calendar items, documents. But I'm stuck on one thing - how can I reproduce the groups of contacts from our old windows outlook express address in the OS X address book? I would rather not have to recreate them one address at a time if I can avoid it. Thanks!

Do contacts "go bad"? I've got three pairs of soft contacts that I bought a year ago. I've never worn them, and they're still sealed in the little jars of solution that they came in. Is there any reason that I shouldn't start wearing these contacts now?

I soon need to get new glasses, but have been tinkering with the thought of getting contacts. Problem being that I have a fear of inserting them. I can't stick it in my eye without flinching too bad to get it in. Any tips on overcoming my fears?

How should I manage the roster of my Roller Derby league? Right now I have about 30 girls listed in an Excel spreadsheet with various information, but the info that I'm collecting is growing all the time and I'm not really used to using Excel, there has to be a better way. We're also likely to expand very quickly, possibly doubling our numbers in the next month or so.

I am trying to find some software that exists in my mind, but I don't know if it exists in real life. I want a way to represent the people in my address book as dots on a [US] map, somewhat dynamically. OSX or web-based. Free or cheap, not subscription-based, though I would pay more for the exact right app.

I tried ordering contacts online last week .. a day after placing the order, they called me and said my eye doctor's office said my prescription had expired. So, I'm a little annoyed at my eye doctor -- my last appointment was not more than a year ago and before that my prescription hadn't changed in 8 years. I'm comfortable with my eyesight and feel confident I have the same prescription. I just would like some more contacts. Is there away around this ? Is my eye doctor trying to make some money by getting me to come in again ? or order the contacts through him? How is this different than me ordering a TWO year supply of contacts last year ? It seems like red tape to me . .thanks for any advice.

My girlfriend's been having some problems with her vision and she's not really sure if her eye doctor(s) are understanding her adequately, or are thinking of things that could be less common that could be the problem.

I'm near-sighted and wear contact lenses to see stuff far away. I also work at a computer all day. Is it damaging to wear my lenses and stare at an LCD panel? Should I not wear my lenses when I'm working?

imacs and palm pilots and windows systems - do they play nicely together? i'm trying to help a friend figure out if his soon-to-arrive imac (his first mac since 85) will be able to sync with the calendar and contact software on a palm pilot. he currrently uses ACT at work (WIN), but is willing to change that to a different calendar/contact solution that will allow him to sync the palm pilot at home too, (and add info at home). any advice on simple solutions or best practices?

I have several hundred contacts with all sorts of information in my old OS9 outlook, which I must keep using for awhile due to our antiquated network. However, I was able to export my contacts as a "csv" file which seems to be some sort of excel spreadsheet. How do I import it into my OSX address book?

I'm thinking about trying out some of the newer extended wear contacts, specifically the Night and Day contacts that you can wear for up to 30 days straight. Anyone have any experience with these?

Cell phone question. Got an LG from Verizon -- but I suck at typing on phones, and the thought of entering the umpteen dozens of contacts I have has scared me from entering all but a few.
When I was on T-Mobile, you could add contacts online. Is there any quick and easy way for me to do something like this? I just want to type them, since it would take me six and a half years to enter them manually.

Cellphones these days: do they make ones that will store my contacts (not just phone numbers, but addresses as well) and my calendar? And that can be sync'd with my PC? And (and this is key) aren't too terribly expensive?
