When I wear contact lenses, I get bags under my eyes within about fifteen minutes. I wear toric lenses, if that matters. Is there anything I can do about this, or should I continue to stick to glasses?

This might be a dumb question about my iPhone 3G (latest software update): where did I see some sort of scroll bar down the side of a list (of names? songs?) that functions similarly to the list of letters along the side of the screen in the Contacts application? Instead of letters, it was a series of horizontal bars that indicated relative position over the full length of whatever the list was. Made scrolling through a super long list quick and easy. Did I make this up? Googling hasn't turned up anything useful, but pointers there would be helpful, too. Thanks in advance.

I just bought 90 days worth of daily disposable contact lenses, but I intend to wear each pair for a week at a time, taking them out every evening and cleaning them in OptiFree. I occasionally get eye infections, so I no longer want to use even a well-cleaned set of lenses longer than a week. Am I pushing safety levels by using dailies as weeklies?

I own a DS Lite. Recently, the 'R' button has started to become somewhat non-responsive. It still works, but I have to push it really hard to get a response to it at all. I suspect that the contacts need cleaning. Since I've never done anything like this before, should I attempt to do this myself? By that I mean is it a relatively simple affair or would this be incredibly difficult to do? And if I were to go ahead and do it, what tools might I need to finish the job?

I am starting a job search in earnest and I have been getting great response, thankfully. I am concerned, however, that something may slip through the cracks, as calls and contacts are coming in from all directions (e-mail, voicemail, others). Is there a low- or no-cost option to manage the contacts in one location (web site, computer, web server, etc.)? More details below...

Should I get contact lenses?
I've been wearing glasses for about 10 years, and mainly need them for driving. I don't need to wear them every day, but do if I have a pair of glasses I wear them. Currently I borrow my wife's spares but this has to stop because I have a poor track record with looking after spectacles, and I'm toying with the idea of getting contacts instead. In particular because I'd like not to have to bother with prescription sunglasses as well. Is it worth it?
I had quite sensitive eyes as a kid, and do a lot of computer work. Does this affect my decision?
