Looking for a contemporary workspace.

I'm looking for a cool but usable computer desk for my new place. I'm moving to a new place and am tired of the disaster that has passed for a computer desk for the last few years. I need something with a contemporary-ish design and well made; I'm particularly concerned with getting rid of the insightly fire hazard of all my cables ending up in a big mashed-up pile on the floor behind the desk. Space or shelves for a printer, etc, also would be great. If there are matching bookshelves that would be a plus but not necessary.

I've been looking online but have yet to find anything that really grabbed me. Any ideas?

Computer desk that will work around a La-Z-Boy chair?

Computer equipment ergonomics: My grandmother sits in her La-Z-Boy overstuffed chair and rocks all day. I'm looking for a tray or a stand which will allow her to swivel the monitor and keyboard in front of her and use it comfortably while sitting in that chair. Any suggestions as to where I'd find something like this? At the moment, she's got a computer on a table just to her left, but constantly having to turn to use the computer is causing her pain. Is there a tray or stand which I can either attach to the chair or place next to it, which would swivel so that the keyboard, mouse and monitor could be rotated in front of her when she wants to use the computer (while sitting in her chair) and then rotated away when she wants to watch TV?

Thanks.

Computer desk that looks like "normal" furniture?

A computer desk that isn't...does it exist? I just bought an imac g5, and part of the reason was the all in one design, no tower. I don't want it in an office, I want it in the main living area.

So I don't want the typical computer desk with the space for a tower and the pull out keyboard section. Does anyone make desks that are made to look like normal furniture?

Or is there something not meant as a computer desk but works as well? I want something that will blend in with a normal living space.
