I'm interested in checking out the local hackerspace -- partly out of interest in doing stuff there, partly because they do work that's similar to ours (they work with adults, we work with kids). Their pricing policy is very expensive and only seems to make a token effort to reach out to low-income people like myself. They've expressed interest in meeting and getting to know us -- I'm excited about this, but am also really personally affronted by their pricing scheme.
