There is a Volkswagen Passat commercial I keep seeing lately with a song that sounds vaguely like a Budos Band song in the background, though I don't believe that's actually what it is.. but what is it?

TV commercial music filter: US television ad from a few years back (3-5 maybe) for a line of kitchen appliances (can't recall the brand - great ad, I suppose - so not sure about googling) that featured a montage of images showing food producers (farmers, fishermen, etc.) going about their work then smiling at the camera and holding the results (fresh vegetables, eggs, fish, etc.). But what was the piece of orchestra music in the sound track?

I just caught the end of a Ford commercial and am being driven insane by not being able to figure out what the song is and who sings it (I know it, just can't put my finger on it). Can anyone help?
It's a male voice, he's singing "nah nah nah nah nah nah nah"
Sounds a little indie rock on the folksy side.
Please help me otherwise I'll obsess about it all night long.

What is that groovy bass line on those Cablevision commercials?
There are a series of recent Cablevision commercials with a dark haired dude talking in front of a white background - these all end with a really groovy bass line. Is that from a real song, or is it just something they just recorded for the commercial?

About 5 years ago there was a TV commercial (I think for BUPA) in the UK featuring a French song which I guess was from the sixties.
The only lyric I can remember is (I think) "Quand votre coeur fait boom..."
commercialbreaksandbeats.com is the usual place for answers on this - but they seem to be in the dead pool.
Anyone have any ideas what I might be talking about?

AdMusicFilter: Beautiful, haunting piano music from mid-90s Serta commercial. Google is only marginally helpful, and this search has been driving me nuts for over a decade now. Description and best-guess results are inside.
Note: Search terms should include "-sheep" as this predates that campaign. [more inside]

A few years ago Amp'd mobile had a commercial.
This commercial. I watched it about 30 times as part of a class assignment, and the background music lodged into my subconscious. Does anyone know the artist/ title? I'd like to be able to hear it sans prostitute screams (a part of the commercial, not a part of my personal life).

Where can I find a (preferably downloadable) online copy of a recent TV commercial advertising a nuclear power company? I saw the ad all summer on CNN (United States) and I'm not sure if they're still running. The ad is a quirky animated piece showing the step-by-step process of nuclear energy, from mining to usage. It's presented in a 3D isometric perspective, similar to eboy/pixel art.
I'd like to present it to a class I'm teaching, as the ad style liberally borrows from a Royksopp music video from a few years back. Thanks!

Name that (commercial) tune! Ask.com is currently running a television ad that features no spoken script. The ad begins "Why is Ask.com the fastest-growing search engine?" in white text against a red background, and the ad continues with snippets of newspaper reviews, etc. There is an electronic/techno background soundtrack. What song is playing, and is it available for purchase?

While watching the olympics I've seen a few ads with Visa's new slogan, "Life Takes Visa" and I really like the song playing in the background. It seems like a pop/rock song (with a little classical in there too), though it may have been composed specifically for the commercial. So my question: if you've seen the ad, do you know what song that is? (And where I could get it? - hopefully iTunes)

Over the past few months, I have occasionally seen a commercial for a vacation cruise. I can't recall the name of the cruise, but Norwegian fiords are featured prominently. What really has my interest is the song featured in the ad. It's a classic example of trying to remember a song, but not being able to, and it's driving me crazy. The tune has an ethereal quality to it, and the singer is female. If anyone has even the vaguest idea of what I'm talking about, please end my suffering, and tell me who sings the damn song!
Please.
