I've got a personal site/blogg-ish thing and I get comment spam. The odd thing is that much of it doesn't contain any links. It's just some random words. What is the point of this? [more inside]

Best way to deal fairly with non-spam, malicious comments on a personal blog? Deleting them straight away, or allowing such comments but following up with an answer/reply? [more inside]

On Blogger, is it possible to post a comment that appears to have been made by another (registered) user? This is without the post having been made using a stolen or guessed password.
