Can you help me identify this bit by a comedian? It played on a local comedy station (Funny1260 AM in Phoenix) yesterday morning around 9:00 AM. It sounded like an old school comedian because he rolled his "R"s like an old timey orator, and the bit was about how he compared his wife to the delicious things in life; her face was a tutti frutti, delicious cuts of meat, desserts. I was in NOLA in February or March 2016, visiting an old friend. One night we went to Comedy Gumbeaux at Howlin' Wolf, sort of an open mic style thing. The obvious crowd favorite was a younger-looking black woman who had a hilarious set about "getting marmaladed" (when a tourist gets seduced into moving to NOLA by a sexy local) and dick pics and Cain gift cards. WHAT IS HER NAME??? [more inside]
Name that comedian: Woman, 50s, grey hair, not uber-famous. [more inside]
I have a clip of this standup act: http://zork.net/~spork/classiccomedy.mp3 Can anyone identify this act? I actually found this out once but lost the name of the comic. This was recorded in 2006. The comedian has another act along the same lines as this, but whereas this one is ultra generic, the other one is very overly specific to LA.
Apropos of Louis C.K.'s low key no-frills "just a standup set" Saturday Night Live monologue, I'm curious. Are there other examples of SNL opening monologues that deviate from the expected pattern? [more inside]
Dave Chappelle. Chris Rock. Louis C.K. Some of the funniest male comics are the least funny when it comes to gender -- incisive humor suddenly deteriorates into sexist tropes and gender war cliches. Are there any male stand-up comedians who have interesting routines about women?
I'm looking for racial comedy, in English, available on video, or less preferably mp3. It doesn't need to be the exclusive topic of the comedian, but it should play a part. No preference for a specific racial background, although East Asian would be interesting to see, since I haven't seen much of it before. Examples: Maz Jobrani, Canada's own Russell Peters, Chris Rock.
I am lost, I am interested in being a positive influence to other people by making them laugh or helping them out with life problems. Need some suggestions. [more inside]

Looking for insults and jokes for my husbands 40th birthday party. It is a roast. He is a metrosexual, known for wearing pink. He plays golf and is known to get a little angry if he doesn't play well. He also loves poker and again gets angry if he loses. He thinks he has a big head, not conceited, but a physically big head. He comes across as arrogant but he really isn't if you get to know him. Jokes need to be relatively clean ie pg-13. Thanks [more inside]

Does anyone remember a comedian doing a bit about how his accountant's office was an old Ihop and he wanted to ask his accountant for pancakes? he called the Ihop the Temple of Pancakes and he kept saying "and some pancakes...." [more inside]
Prior to '05, I saw a repeat of Premium Blend which featured a performance by a comedian with a joke about playing opera in her car; she illustrated the hilarity vis-a-vis prejudice by singing a bit of it. Picking up most culture by osmosis, I've long loved whatever the piece was from, but have no idea what it is. Also, she was hilarious and I'd like to find more by her. [more inside]
