Türkçe....!

How do you program foreign (namely the Turkish ones - ı, ş, and ğ) characters into a laptop keyboard....? I currently have my laptop keyboard set to United States-International, which allows me to type, for example:

: + o for ö
' + a for á
Ctrl + Alt + W for å

It seems however, that the Turkish characters ı, ş, and ğ (and their capital equivalents) are not programmed into this keyboard layout as standard. Does anyone know of the key combination for them, or any other alternative for programming these characters into similar keyboard shortcuts? Would be happy for a solution that required installing supplementary software, but before anyone suggests, installing the Turkish keyboard is out of the question.

What combinations of clear, non-toxic chemicals create a colourful result?

What combinations of colourless non-toxic substances result in something that's coloured, or at least opaque? Aside from enzymes and substrates, are there any safe organic and/or inorganic clear substances that are known to change colour in the right combination? I vaguely remember doing things like this with a childhood chemistry set, but can't remember the specifics.

Color algebra: How do I pick a color F will make known color C against known background B at opacity N?

Color algebra: Given a color C, how do I pick a color F that will be color C when against background color B at opacity N? How would I do the same thing for a color multiplication?
I'm guessing one can start by treating each color as an RGB or CMYK vector, but I'm more than a little fuzzy on exactly what these operations mean and therefore how to invert them to pick F.

If context matters in defining the operations, practically I'm concerned with whatever Illustrator CS and Fireworks 8 mean by the terms, but I'm interested in general observations as well.

Help me select Spanish wine and cheese combinations.

Help me select Spanish wine and cheese combinations. Help! All I know about Spanish wine and cheese is that most red Rioja is nice and that manchego goes down nicely as tapas with a cold Mahou.

I need recommendations for good Spanish wine & cheese combinations. One for red and another for white. I looked at some of the previous wine and cheese questions but most questions mixed and matched from different countries. I'm looking for individual wine+cheese combinations that would set me back around 50€ or less.

Bonus slimepuppy points if you can name a place in Madrid where I can get the aforementioned queso & vino.

¡Gracias por adelantado!

Felt a migrainne coming. sort of panicked. what might the blood pressure pills have been? they were really small. fyi i get aural migraines with vision impairment so forgive any spelling errors.

What's the optimal way to combine a fan with an air conditioner?

What's the optimal way to combine a fan with an air conditioner? I have an air conditioner (building supplied HVAC unit), but while the air coming directly out of the vent is cold, it doesn't do an effective job of cooling the room. I have a reasonably powerful vornado floor fan (more than one, actually, if needed).

Where's the best place to put the fan?

Should I blow air across the room to the air conditioner, or should I put the fan on top of the AC vent and blow the cold air into the room?

(Apologies if this has been asked before. The only similar question I could find was this, which doesn't really answer my question.
