RGB color reference guide. I have just purchased an Epson R1900. I need to match pantone colors & fabric swatches to create artwork. So ideally I would like to print a color reference book of all it's possible RGB colors that I can refer to as a guide to match a color. Is there an "easy" way to do this from either Photoshop or preferably Illustrator? I am a mac user. I did find a multiRIP software but it seems to be only PC friendly.

College student looking to buy a laser printer. I've only needed to print papers in black ink during my past two years of college. But what's this - I can buy a color laser printer for the same price as a regular one? Are there any downsides to a rarely-used color roller?

I am looking into buying a color laser printer for home office use. I am currently looking at either the Dell 3110cn or 3010cn, and would welcome reading about experiences with those models as well as recommendations for other printer models. [more inside]

Inkjet isn't cutting it for my home office. I give out about 200 product info sheets a month, and inkjet just gives, well, that technicolor "inkjet look", though granted I am printing on laser printer paper rather than inkjet papers. How good are these new $400 color laser printers? Should I give them a serious look, or is my money better spent on inkjet paper? [more inside]

My graphic design office needs a new printer, and we're trying to decide between a Xerox 7400DN color laser (actually LED) and an Epson 4800 Pro inkjet. We print primarily (maybe 90%) 8.5x11 and 11x17, about evenly between color and black and white, with a few 13x19 pages. The Xerox is limited to 12x18, which means we would have to re-work some templates to get them onto 12x18. The Epson prints up to 17" wide, which I'm sure we'd use once in a while. Duplexing (printing both sides at once) on the Xerox would be nice. The Xerox lists for more money, but we can get it for about the same as the Epson ($2500).
Any general thoughts between color lasers and inkjets in general? I know the inkjet has the ability to print higher quality, but is much slower than the laser. Anything else?

What's the best color printer for "fine art" printing, using OSX? I might consider color laser, but a good inkjet would also be acceptable. [More Inside] [more inside]
