Can I use Kansas football student tickets if I'm not a KU student? A friend of mine and I want to buy 2 tickets to Kansas' game next week against Oklahoma. Problem is, they're student tickets, and we're not tickets. I've been told there's an upgrade fee, but it's unclear from the website.

Can we use these tickets? I don't want to buy them if I can't.

Tangentially college sports-related food/drink question: At your school, was there a bar or restaurant where fans of your rival team would congregate? What I'm after is analogous to, say, a Bears bar in Green Bay, but for NCAA teams. This is for a post on a travel blog I write for, in case you're curious, so the particular rivalry isn't all that important.

Is there an easy (or at least relatively straightforward) way to get all of the college football box scores for a weekend (or more) as a feed or in a flat file (txt, csv, xls, etc.)? I'm running an offline fantasy football league, and I would like to automate the scoring if possible. (Solutions that require scripting or macros would be fine.)

Where can I find out-of-town sports bars in Denver? Hello Hive Mind!
I'm a recent (end of March) transplant from the northeast and with football season coming up, I need some local places to watch out-of-town games with some like-minded crazies (sport masochists? you'll see when I tell you my teams).
I'm looking for:
* NFL - Buffalo Bills. I hear LoDos is a good place for this, is that still the case?
* NCAA Football - Penn State. Google refers me to Pat's, which makes sense since it's a cheesesteak place. Yes?
* NCAA Men's Basketball - Syracuse. There's a post on city-data.com that Blake Street Tavern does this, but can someone corroborate this?

Any other suggestions? I live in North Capital Hill, so if they're close to me even better-- but if I have to drive a bit I am willing to do it.

A Good 'pick'em' Site?

My friends and I play a College Football pick 'em game. What's a good website to administer this? The 'admin' picks 8-10 games of interest each week (rivalry games, 'our' teams, ranked teams playing each other, etc).

We pick against the spread, so the line needs be on the site. Last year we used and it was a good system, but looking for a little more 'customization'.

Wagerline lists all the games with lines, so each player has to wade through the 50 or so games and place picks on the games selected. A couple times players messed up. So we're looking for a more fail-safe system. (WE used to do e-mail and spreadsheets, but that was too much work for the ADMIN)

Looking for advice on attending the Georgia-Florida college football game in Jacksonville, Florida on November 1. Most convenient hotel? How do I get tickets? Do I need a car? Where is the most fun to be had besides the stadium? Not a high roller, but I don't mind paying for hotel/rental car/parking/ticket broker etc. I don't really have connections in the Jacksonville area or at either school.

I'm in the process of starting a group blog that covers a couple of college football conferences. I'm not making any money off this and have no plans to in the future. Its a love of the game thing for me. It seems like it would be easy to find folks interested in college football to blog, but I'm having a tough time. Its hard enough for an individual to keep a blog going for long periods of time, so I thought a group blog would have a good chance of lasting awhile.

I've posted to craigslist and I've gotten a couple of people on board, but I need individuals who will cover specific teams. Most of the respondents from craigslist are asking to get paid, but I can't at the moment. I've tried posting to the big college boards run by scout.com and rivals.com, but they always get deleted. Its easy to understand why.

Basically, how do find bloggers who want to write about college football?
