Utility bill in CA

How can I save time on not having to wait longer to get proof on a water bill or another utility bill? Trying to get residency here for the purpose of college tuition costs. Moved from New York and staying with my aunt for a short while (a couple months or so). I tried calling the water bill company (I think water... not sure... I forgot) and they can't add me to the bill as they said over the phone that they will only add a spouse to the bill. What can I do so that way I can get the ball rolling sooner?

Stuck with a semester bill and a hold on my loan and financial aid

I have a situation where there was a class this Spring semester that I attended and participated in, in which I received a WN grade in. Due to this WN grade, I am unable to receive financial aid, register for Fall classes, and the loans that I received from my PELL grant are in limbo. [more inside]

Education while working full time

I'm a part time college student who studies Computer Science and works full time as a junior mobile developer in New York City for an air travel company. I am currently half way through my undergraduate degree due to family issues and simply because I work the whole week. Even so, courses at Brooklyn College where I go to have the worst schedules for some of the major classes. It seems as if college is for the person with a family backbone and I'm struggling a bit as I do not have such support. Are there any resources available for me so that way I won't delay with college so much while being able to work full time?

LGBT resources for those in need

Are there any resources available for young LGBT individuals who are not able to live in their current living environment due to being kicked out or are denied entry into the home? Also it would be nice to find out about employment and college resources for us. I'm not a minor - I'm 19 years of age.
