	<title>An unwanted gallon of 2% milk</title>

	<description>What can I do with an unwanted gallon of 2% milk? I meant to get skim milk, but I bought 2% by accident. I can&apos;t stand 2% milk; it tastes like cream to me. I couldn&apos;t find anyone else who likes 2% either, so I don&apos;t think I can give it away. I put a little bit in my coffee, which was OK, but I&apos;m not going to use it up that way. Should I just throw it away, or is there something else I can do with it?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I could try cooking something (if it doesn&apos;t taste too much like 2% milk), but I&apos;m even open to non-food uses, if any exist.</description>

	<description>What great baked goods would make a coffee shop/cafe AMAZING for you? I&apos;ve got a friend who has an opportunity to bake for a coffee shop that has an emphasis on local, organic, and sustainable stuff (as all good coffee shops should). They&apos;re wanting her to come up with some cool and off-the-beaten path baked goods that will work well in display cases and taste great. (And old standards as well!)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Thoughts and recipes and experiences with fun baked-goods selections at coffee places would be great. It&apos;ll be relatively limited space and smaller batches, so not a HUGE production, but in general, throw it at us!</description>

	<title>Exploring NYC one lunch at a time.</title>

	<description>Taking my IT dev job to the librairies and coffeeshops of NYC for a couple of weeks (accompanying my wife, who&apos;s in a program at NYU).  What are the best places to work, to lunch, and to explore in the relatively-immediate vicinity? So, I can work wherever I have internet connectivity, which is good.  So I&apos;ve been able to come along with my wife to New York from our home in the far Midwest and live near NYU for a few weeks.  Great!  Now... how do I make the most of it?  O hive mind, can you help point me to:&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
* Good, comfortable, friendly coffeeshops near NYU that don&apos;t mind laptop warriors -- places with good wireless, non-cramped tables, enough electrical outlets to go around, great and not overpriced coffee, and an atmosphere you can spend a bunch of hours in at a time without wigging out.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
* Cheap, yummy, and &quot;only in New York&quot; places to grab lunch within a 20-minute walk or so of said coffeeshops.  I don&apos;t need or want anything fancy, just things that most of the country has only pale imitations of compared to New York.  Examples: banh mi in Chinatown, real New York-style pizza, deli (Katz&apos;s?), custard tarts at Chinese bakeries, real bagels, black &amp;amp; white cookies, etc.  Especially things that can be taken out &amp;amp; eaten outside.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
* Other neat things in the vicinity I might not think to explore and/or find on my own.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
* Bonus: favorite reasonably nice (~$100/two without wine) but fairly down to earth restaurants also nearby for a night out on my wife&apos;s birthday.&lt;br&gt;

	<description>Seattle eats- cheap, cheerful, and coffee walking distance from the ACE Hotel? Hi- I&apos;m eagerly looking forward to his first time in Seattle since 1985(!) this coming Saturday, have a week at Ace Hotel (loved, loved the one in PDX so giving this one a spin). I&apos;ll be on my own and like ethnic, especially Mexican which is thin on the ground up here (Calgary, and Canada in general), but also just about any stripe as long as it&apos;s good value, anything unpretentious and casual enough for shorts and runners (and comfy for a solo diner); and am a huge coffeegeek whose tastes run to places like Stumptown. Served with this ice cream is a delicious little wafer cookie that I must find more of! Can you help me find it?  Picture and more information within. I&apos;m trying to locate the manufacturer and/or an outlet (either in the Seattle area or via online store) where I can find these delcious wafer cookies.  Tully&apos;s Coffee includes a triangle shaped wafer with each serving of their premium soft-serve ice cream. The wafers are presumably circular when whole (though served as a wedge at Tully&apos;s) and are thin.  They have a very thin layer of vanilla filling.  They wafers have raised concentric circular bands and within the bands are some letters and some sort of leaf/star design.  The picture linked above illustrates this.&lt;br&gt;

I have contacted Tully&apos;s Coffee HQ and asked for information about these wafer cookies but have been thus far ignored.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Do you know where I might find these wafers?  Thank you for your help!</description>

	<title>In search of coffee on the cape</title>

	<description>I&apos;m looking for a &lt;strong&gt;good&lt;/strong&gt; cup of coffee on Cape Cod. I&apos;m staying this week in Dennisport,   and due to a lack of knowledge of the area (and cape cod in general - this is only my 2nd time here),  I havent found a good, independent coffee shop.  There are,  of course,  Dunkin Donuts shops every 1/4 mile along Rt 28,  if you&apos;re into that sort of thing,  but I was hoping for something,  well,  not Dunkin Donuts!  &lt;br&gt;

Oh, btw,  I&apos;m in Dennisport,  but anything in Harwich / Dennis / Yarmouth would work for me.  Thanks!</description>

	<title>Hot Coffee vs Iced Coffee</title>

Although it makes my father cringe (he&apos;s a bigger fanatic than I am and thinks ice coffee is heretical) I do drink ice coffee during the summer months. One thing I&apos;ve noticed is that I do not seem to get the same caffeine kick from ice coffee that I do from hot coffee. I&apos;m sure it doesn&apos;t have anyting to do with dilution since I use extremely strong batches of coffee to make coffee cubes. Is this just in my mind or is there a reaction between the heat and caffeine which makes the hot coffee more potent? I&apos;ve asked this question elsewhere but never received a good answer and I don&apos;t want to get involved with coffee UseNet groups.</description>
