Is my torso shrinking?

Is anyone currently selling t-shirts for women that aren't below-hip-length? My old t-shirts are getting too ratty, but I'm having trouble finding replacements. I like soft, lightweight cotton or cotton-blend jersey fabric. I've looked at Target, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, J. Crew, all of which I have had good luck with in the past, but this season I have only found varying lengths of too long. Gap has some that are almost the right length, but aren't the right fabric. I'm not looking for a 90s-style crop top, I just don't want a lot of fabric bunching around my hips the way current styles seem to do. Anyone know where I could find what I'm looking for? I'm in Pittsburgh, PA if there are regional recommendations.

Want to buy a dark gray/charcoal women's tee

Where can I buy a plain women's charcoal/dark gray heather tee (short- or long-sleeved)? I can't seem to find these anywhere on sale online. I don't seem to have trouble finding light gray heather tees, but dark gray is proving to be elusive. Can any of you help?

Translate my t-shirt; Farsi? Arabic?

Great graphic on this t-shirt, but we've curious as to what it actually says (if anything).

It looks like farsi to me, but I could be wrong.

"City of God" clothing label

Please help me find the name of a clothing label that is prominent in the film "City of God" Does anyone know the name of the clothing label for the tshirts that crop up a lot in the film "City of God" worn by a lot of the main characters? The logo is, what looks like, two footprints, one next to the other. Thanks!

Spreadshirt vs. Cafepress

I have a vector design that's plot printable at Spreadshirt. But should I just take it to Cafepress (which I think is cheaper)? More generally, the two sites use different terminology to talk about printing: Cafepress talks about direct priting vs. heat transfer; Spreadshirt talks about digital vs. plot printing. How do all these compare, in terms of quality and price, assuming the designs are plot-printable without modification?<br>
<br>

T-shirt cotton conundrum

I have a lot of cotton t-shirts, of the medium-to-heavy weight kind that usually have something printed on them. There seem to be two distinct kinds of cotton fabric in the shirts:
Good: After a few washes, the shirt becomes soft and kind of broken in. Bad: the shirt never really becomes soft or broken in, and worse, inevitably comes out of the dryer with (clean) lint and cat hair all over it. So I have two questions about this:<br />
1. What accounts for the different outcomes for two 100% cotton shirts?<br />
2. Is there any solution, ASIDE from using fabric softener? Any non-nasty alternatives to fabric softener?

Origin of American Art Wear t-shirt?

Where do t-shirts come from? I bought a t-shirt from a thirft store with a funny print. It reads "America. Made by Humans." It's a standard baseball style shirt otherwise, but its tag was "American Art Wear." I'm interested in the printing of the t-shirt more than the original manufacturer of the shirt. The manager of the store said something a bit cryptic: that the owner/clothes buyer gets most of the tees off the backs of trucks at trade fairs. Who is in the business of printing t-shirts for this kind of distribution? Who is "American Art Wear"?
