I (petite, mid-20's woman) want to get rid of all my long-sleeved button-front shirts and replace them with things that are still work-appropriate but more flattering and maybe okay for non-work wear as well. What styles would work for me? Where should I shop? Special snowflake style preferences ahead. [more inside]

What are the best agressive, alternative, out, fun, political, pro-gay shirts? I'm looking to update my wardrobe with some more queer clothing and am looking for suggestions. [more inside]

I love Julie Deply's shirt in Before Sunset. Where can I get a shirt exactly (or almost exactly) like that? [more inside]

I have this shirt
and it has a hole in the front. It is made of tee shirt material so sewing it is not necessarily an option. I am looking for a replacement as I love this shirt, and I would wear it every day if I could. [more inside]

I've decided to go down the made-to-measure road and buy some shirts (and, perhaps suits) that fit really well. Which online made-to-measure shop is best? [more inside]

What, if anything, is wrong with wearing two-tone shirts to the office? These are shirts that have white collar & cuffs but another colour for the rest of the shirt. [more inside]

I'm sartorially clueless. How would you describe this kind
of shirt? It's a "dress shirt", sure, but how would you specify the fabric and cut (particularly that type of collar)? Here
is another example. I'm looking to buy some shirts like these but when I go to department stores I can only find this
sort of thing - which is cut completely differently and uses an extremely thin fabric. Help me articulate the differences.

[FindThatShirtFilter/DressMeFilter] I know I'm supposed to be eyeing off this seller's Etsy products, but I'm sorta more interested in the shirt her model's wearing! Anyone know where I can find it? Or recognise what brand it is so I can check out their other gear? And/or (while I'm at it!), different stuff entirely but with a similar feel? [more inside]

I'm a big guy and I'd like to get a dress shirt with French cuffs. Are there great online sellers for shirts like this, or perhaps you know of a better brick and mortar shop around Maryland/Washington, D.C. that can help me out? [more inside]

Clothing Search: I was at H&M a few weeks ago and they had this sweet long-sleeved gray button-down with epaulettes on the shoulders and double breast pockets; none in my size. Sort of punk rock/nondescript uniform-looking. Any ideas where I can find the same thing online? [more inside]

Can anyone identify the pattern on this shirt and tell me what these people are or anything about the pattern. I bought it at a vintage clothing store a little while back and while its one of my favorite shirts and I'd like to know more about it.

ClothingFilter: When dressing casually, I often wear button-down shirts out, rather than tucked in. The problem is that the moment you sit down, the bottom third of the shirt becomes a wrinkled mess, and looks terrible. Assuming I'm not going to remain standing forever, is there a particular brand, type, or material of shirt that avoids this problem?

Cesar Milan ("The Dog Whisperer") occasionally wears a black shirt bearing a logo that looks like a crowned boxing lion (think medieval England). What make is it and where can I get one?

I have to go on a few job interviews for web producer positions in the UK. I've got a suit, and a collarless black jacket/suit which I quite like and isn't too far off the norm. But I need a good shirt.
What colour shirt should I go for? White? Blue? Lilac? Should it be a "name" shirt eg Boss, Ralph Lauren or will any good quality shirt do?

Where can I find a shirt that says "I ♥ ♥ Twins" on it? I saw it on TV and must have it. Googling for "I heart heart twins"
yields three results and one photo, but no purchasing info. Please help!

I want to make my own clothing.
I want to upload a design to a website, and get a shirt/sweater/jacket/whatever.
The two sites I know are cafepress and spreadshirt.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd like it to be fairly inexpensive or at least have the quality be equivalent to cost. What other sites are there besides cafepress and spreadshirt? Is it worth it?

I have a bony elbow. I know this because the left sleeve of all my dress shirts reliably get a hole in the same spot after a while, long before the rest of the shirt shows appreciable wear and tear. Is there anything I can do about this? I've thought about the possibility of elbow pads sewn inside the sleeve, but I don't want stitching visible and anything substantial enough to prevent the tear seems impractical.

Does anyone happen to know where I would be able to get a hold of a shirt like this one
? I have no idea how I would even search for this sort of thing.
(Googling some of the words on the shirt along with the word 'shirt' or 't-shirt' just gives a bunch of random, very unrelated results.)
