Windows Vista has taken me to a new, interesting level of hell. For some reason, starting about a week ago, anything I select with the mouse -- text, even files -- automatically gets copied to the clipboard. If I select any word in this paragraph, for instance, that word will go to the clipboard and overwrite whatever I had there before. It's becoming a real headache. I can't find anything in Control Panel that deals with this feature, and I'm not finding anything on Google. How on earth do I turn this off? Thanks in advance. :)

I just had a huge block of text on my clipboard. When going to paste it, I accidentally hit apple-c instead of apple-v ... copying a new block of text. Is there any way I can recover the text I just erased from the clipboard? I'm on a Mac running OSX.

So I enjoy sharing my screenshots using AllYouCanUpload. Basically I save a screenshot to my desktop using apple+shift+3, browse to AllYouCanUpload, upload the image, paste its URL into my chat dialog, and finally delete the source file. I was wondering, is there anyway I could automate this process in OSX? [more inside]

I can't paste graphics from any other application to Adobe Illustrator CS2, on a Mac. Whenever I try, i get the inane message, 'Quicktime and a TIFF (uncompressed) decompressor are need to see this picture'. Needless to say, I have QuickTime installed. [more inside]
