Name That Show Used In That Russian Music Video-Filter: I was at a Russian restaurant in L.A yesterday and saw the strangest music video. There is a stock audio clip used all over the place in which you can hear a dispatcher say "Beta ... something something", I can never make out anything past "Beta" but it's very common. The last place I heard it was in one of the latest Arby's commercials where a paramedic is getting into an ambulance for some reason or other. And the first place I remember hearing it is in Sim City 2000 when you call in the police it would play this audio clip every time. I am looking for as much information as I can find out about it, and my google-fu has failed me. Specifically I would like to know what the dispatcher says.

How can I get a short clip from a DVD and save it to use in the classroom? Say I was teaching a lesson and a film had a short clip that was perfect at demonstrating something or at getting a point across and I wanted to save it and let other teachers use it in their lessons what would I have to do? Obviously I would look to getting the right clearance in terms of copyright - but how would I do this? Is there a really quick and easy way? Thanking you.

Help me find a durable retractable ID badge holder. This is similar to what I'm looking for, but the problem is that I only need ONE and not one hundred of them. I've been searching for quite a while now and can't seem to find anywhere that will sell just one. I'm having no problems finding them in bulk, but that isn't what I need. I have an ID badge holder now but it has a nylon cord and I've already broken two of them. I want something more durable than the cheap nylon freebie ones.

Name that tune please :: PBS is great, and the songs in their promos are actually just as good. Currently running is a promo that ends with the words; "Be More ~ ThirteenHD" (this is PBS Thirteen's High-Def channel which they broadcast in NYC & possibly elsewhere?). I just want to remember a video song. hint : All the video is made of Alphabet letters, it's all Big building alphabet, Motorcycles Alphabet, Car Alphabet... and we can see the traffic in Alphabet and even an helicopter in Alphabet. I can't remember neither the song's name, neither the artist. But if you have already seen it you could remember it.

What is the *easiest* way to take a clip from a commercial DVD and turn it into a WMV or AVI file. I own the DVD I am using and need a hastle-free way of showing lots of DVD clips in my class lectures. Also, the quality needs to be reasonable -- but not perfect. And again, I'm looking for the *easiest* way.
