My doctor's office billed me up front for an IUD and told me I would be reimbursed. Today, after calling them repeatedly, I found out that they have not filed a claim for the device, and they couldn't give me a satisfactory explanation as to why. I have no idea what to do now.

Please help my 25 year old, uninsured brother get medical attention in Portland, OR for what we think is a hernia. Time is of the essence because he absolutely needs to get this taken care of before returning to Alaska in late May to fish for the summer.

Primary care doctor and hospital/clinic recommendations in NYC, Manhattan, preferably below 34th.
I am helping someone choose a new primary care doctor. We are leaning towards a practitioner who is affiliated with a good sized
clinic or practice for one stop shopping convenience.

Due to a recent and very vigorous visit to pukesville, I'm pretty sure that I've dislocated my jaw. Would a walk-in clinic or urgent care clinic (if those exist) be able to put my jawbones back in order, or does this mean a lengthy trip to the ER? I am in downtown Toronto.

Adult beginner soccer training/camps in the U.S.? I'm a relatively new player (started a couple of years ago). I play on a couple of teams, but as fun as games are they're just not the best way to develop basic skills; I really need a structured practice environment and feedback. I'm considering going to
this camp, but I'm wondering if there's anything similar in the U.S. (Google turns up a bunch of camps for kids, but very few for adults, and even fewer for adult beginners.) West Coast would be best, but I'm willing (obviously) to travel further afield if need be.

Dr. Leslie Smoling operated an illegal abortion clinic in Toronto from 1962 to June 10, 1968, when police closed the clinic and charged him. He then fled to Australia to evade prosecution, coming back after two decades (?) to face charges. Where in the city was this clinic?

Today is my third day staying home from work with a bad cold-like virus (at least, I assume it's a virus). My girlfriend thinks I ought to see a doctor tomorrow, and I agree. Thus, I need your recommendations for walk-in clinics in Manhattan. Where should I go to get a doctor's opinion?

What options do I have for what seems like a sudden acute bursitis attack in my right shoulder? I'm in Toronto and have an appointment for my first cortisone shot Tuesday (I may be able to successfully beg a shot on Monday), but I don't know if I can wait that long for my clinic to open again. It hurts a lot and I can't even sleep through the night. It's been getting worse since waking up Friday morning, not better.

Does anyone know of a clinic with a gyn doctor where my gf can get an appointment or walk-in today (Saturday)? We're currently in Manhattan, but have a car so we can travel to any borough, NJ, etc. If this information is relevant: The issue is that "something doesn't feel right," e.g., pain during penetration.

My wife has cold sores (for the first time). They have been there for about 10 days. She is uninsured and has tried Abreva and is taking L-Lysine with little success. We are new to living in the Boston area. She is getting pretty distressed about them. Can anybody recommend a Free Clinic in the Boston/Cambridge/Brookline area or somewhere where we can get cheap treatment?
