I need recommendations for a mid-length piece of instrumental music which varies a lot in expressive emotional content to be used in a neural imaging experiment. Please provide links to listenable extracts (i.e. amazon mp3 clips or you tube).

MusicTeachingFilter: Simple plan was to learn an
under chin bowed string instrument. Didn't realize
they were all so different [you-tubes]. Which to start with? What method of teaching? Want to eventually do folk/improvise, seeking sympathetic string sound, but still love classical.

Are there internet radio streams that play
(a) contemporary classical (I love Max Richter and Jóhann Jóhannsson; I don't care for Philip Jeck) or
(b) folk-y artists like James Yorkston, Marissa Nadler, Vashti Bunyan, and Emilíana Torrini?

I love the sound of the clarinet. I'm looking for quiet, pensive, possibly melancholic music featuring this instrument. Any genre; preferably instrumental. I'm not looking for happy big-band jazz or Poulenc's chaotic clarinet sonata, though I appreciate both.
