I have an old 17" Apple Cinema Display, a first generation Macbook and an Xbox 360. Explain to me as though I were a small child how I can use my ACD (if at all) 1) with my Macbook and 2) with my Xbox 360. I know that there are probably all kinds of adapters involved but I read some past threads and being not at all savvy couldn't really make heads or tails of any of it. Inside there are photos of the port on my computer and the plug on the ACD. [more inside]

I just bought an Apple 20 inch Cinema display (to use with my PC) but, to be honest I dont like the Silver frame around the stunning screen. What is the best way - safest - cleanest - fastest - cheapest - to transform the silver into black - and the white on the sides --- into black ... plastic coating? Magic marker (haha) paint? Snap on something? [more inside]

I recently hooked up a 23" (older model) to a PC and some of the graphics don't appear to be displaying properly. The problem exists with subtle gradients and color transitions. It looks almost like a .gif would display. Do Macs run a higher bit rate or color set? Is there a base video card that should be used with a PC. [more inside]

At work I have a fancy new big giant Apple cinema display. I like it. But I noticed that recently, since I changed my desktop picture to something near 50% grey, I get afterimages - for example, when I close illustrator after working on lineart, I see a ghost of the lineart on my desktop for 15-30 seconds. I thought it was my eyes but my cow-orkers see it too. Is this bad? Can I up the refresh rate on the screen or something? I don't like it.
