Anyone else experience similar chronic illness symptoms?

Note: I am the patient. Describing the symptoms is pretty difficult task but I will try to do my best. The patient has not felt normal since sometime in October of 2013. The best way to describe it is a feeling as if patient is about to get sick. That feeling as if a sickness is coming on but never really comes on. This feeling is often strongest at night and continues throughout the day and will be gone by night. This toxic/sick feeling that radiates throughout the body seems to come and go at times. Why have I had diarrhea for 6 weeks nonstop?

YANMD. I've had watery diarrhea (6 or more times/day) since mid-Dec, starting around the time norovirus was going around the schools. No other symptoms - no fever, chills, pain, etc. Nothing scary like blood or mucous in the diarrhea, and I am drinking enough fluid that I am peeing. I went to the doctor after 4 weeks of this, and he did blood work (to make sure my electrolytes weren't out of whack). My doctor -- who is excellent -- isn't worried about me but, oh my, is this ever an inconvenience. [more inside]

How to deal with a loss of a career due to chronic injury

Hello, I am worried about my mental health because I am about to give up a career that I love because of a health issue. I work in a very competitive industry and I have, after many years of hard work been given my dream job. My work is exciting, varied and creative. It is also extremely physical. I am at the edge of achieving all my goals. But my condition means I am struggling to do the job. I am only in my late 20's My questions are: How can I deal mentally if I have to quit? I feel to a large extent defined by my work. I feel everything I worked for over the last 10 years is about to be ruined. I'm worried that I wont have anything else in my life that I can truly excel at. For those of you that have had a similar loss how did you cope? (Loss of a career, sport, hobby, etc) Thanks

Spouse with chronic illness - support for me.

I'm trying to find some kind of online support, such as a forum, for people whose SOs have chronic health problems. When googling for this, all I find are forums for people who are caretakers of their ill SOs. My husband can take care of himself for the most part, but his illness has a significant impact on our marriage. I'm trying to find others in similar situations. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Can't Stop the Acne

It appears as if I have a acid sensitivity. I get acne fairly often (which apparently according to homeopaths can be from acid) and I also have chronic heart-burn issues that can become very painful. Unfortunately I am not willing to give up coffee, coca-cola or spicy foods. Maybe spicy foods, but caffeine is pretty important to me, I think caffeine pills are less acidic but I always end up strung out after a few months of a consistent periodic dose of caffeine.
