How do I wrap an outdoor deciduous tree with Christmas lights safely?

I am looking to wrap a 12' dogwood's trunk and branches to get an effect similar to this. But if a max of 3 strands of 100 mini lights connected end to end is the recommendation for safety, how would I configure it? Thanks, Heather

What's the latest on burning CD mixouts?

Here we go again on cross-faded CDs... Is there any software for Windows, currently available, and cheaper than, say, CD-Architect (:-), which will let me make up a playlist for a CD, and then individually adjust the amount of overlap between each pair of source tracks, and do all the mixing and cue-sheet work necessary to give me a CD with one big long track, but the proper Q subcode to make the display and individual track selection work properly? Help us manage our Christmas lists

I am trying to find a site that will help the family manage our Christmas lists. 6 family members. Unique logins. Each member can input their lists and everyone else in our group can see it. Now, when I buy a present for someone, I would like everyone else to be able to see that I already bought that present, EXCEPT for the person that I bought the present for. For example, if I see my brother wants an MP3 player, and I buy one, my sister can check the site/list and see the MP3 player has been taken. But, I do not want my brother to be able to see that anyone else bought that present. Emailing while viable, is messy. Any ideas?

Locating version of "The Little Drummer Boy" by a young boy.

A friend has spent over ten years trying to locate a version of the song "The Little Drummer Boy" that he listened to as a child. What he remembers is that it was performed by a young boy (or, possibly, a girl) and that while there may have been other singers on the track, it definitely wasn't a choir version. This ring a bell for anyone?

USA under new management in 58, 57, 56...days

The perfect slippers

Please help me find (online, or in a major Canadian store) some slippers that fit the following strict requirements: fluffy on the inside, thick comfy sole, and, most importantly, are closed around the heel without being a boot. It seems that everything I find that fits the first two requirements is clog-style, and that absolutely won't do. The closest I can find are moccasins, but the gift recipient doesn't like leather/fur. Any suggestions?
