Where can I buy plain white old style Chinese t-shirts?

Some years ago I bought a pair of Chinese t-shirts from a charity shop. Plain white short sleeved with a slightly scooped neck. The neck and sleeves where sewn (felled) rather than knitted and the fabric was thinner than the usual western t-shirt. The small label was woven and stated something like Two Chickens Brand. They were ubiquitous in the Mao cap era of China but, try as I may, I cannot trace an internet supplier or a bricks and mortar in the UK/London.

What are the major book publishers in Shanghai, China?

Just wondering what the major book publishers are in Shanghai. I'm especially interested in presses that focus on literature, history, politics, serious non-fiction... I've been doing some research but was hoping someone more familiar with the media scene in China might be able to clue me in on the major or up-and-coming houses. Thanks.

Staying with a family in Nanjing

I might possibly be going to Nanjing in July of this year and would love to stay with a family instead of a hotel. I will be there for two weeks and would be fine with paying or trading a service (perhaps teaching English or Spanish) for the stay. Does a site exist that might have listings like this or is there another way to seek this out? [more inside]
