Ambient/chill artist search: a band with a green album cover, 4 letters, 2 middle letters are "oo"(I think). Heard them here, emailed the dj, no reply. Must. write. them down. Longshot, but that's all I have to go on. :/

The Chillout 2000 compilation album has made me very curious about a group called Nimbus, as you can see from the link. Google searches turn up very little about them, and I'd like to know, what happened to them? The album is from the UK, if that helps.

Can someone explain chillout music? Not so much what it is, but the history, the culture. Can anyone explain where all this chillout, downbeat, DJ-but-not-club music is coming from? Why are most in compilations? Are there big artists? When did this first come about? And is this big in Europe? Fruitless googling produces this BBC site that kind of explains it, if you are already familiar with the culture, which I'm not. I know big names only because they repeat on compilations and only know the music. [more inside]
