Critical constants by simulation.

I am wondering if there are generally accepted ways of getting the critical constants (acentric factor, critical pressure and temperature) of a substance from a simulation of some sort (i.e. quantum chemistry) [more inside]

Why do some liquids form azeotropes and not others?

I know *what* an azeotrope is, but I don't really know *why* an azeotrope happens. Please enlighten me. [more inside]
