Chemist looking for non-chemistry work

I'm a current senior graduating with a degree in chemistry from a fairly selective liberal arts problem. The catch is that I really, really do not want a job in a chemistry lab when I graduate. I'm looking for ideas for alternative career options that would be realistic for a chemistry graduate. [more inside]

Is a BS worth spending another year in school?

What the heck am I qualified for?

I'm planning on leaving my high-pressure hard science PhD program for something that won't make me hate life quite so much. The problem is that I really don't want to go back to biotech/pharma industry, especially without a PhD, unless totally necessary to support my family. So what am I good for? [more inside]
