A friend of a friend is a painter in New York state involved in a project aimed at building parks aimed at improving communication between refugees and citizens. I have been asked how he might be able to organize an entity as a not-for-profit with a profit wing to encourage both private and public contributors. Anyone know of any standard ways of doing this?

Asking for a friend: What happens to a charity (in Canada) if the entire board resigns on mass? Who is legally responsible for the organization until replacements are found? Does the CRA revoke their charitable license?

Is there anything special I need to do to old computers before I can legally send them abroad from the UK? I've got all the technical aspects covered, and know what's what on the software front, but we
are essentially dealing with electrical equipment, and I know nothing about what the law has to say to that.
