Lip balm with pramoxine?

Speaking of lip balm... Blistex has discontinued my favorite, their Pro Relief. It's gone from their website. The active ingredients are dimethicone 2% skin protectant, and pramoxine hydrochloride 1% external analgesic (great for chapped lips). I can't find any other chapsticks with pramoxine in it... it seems to be mostly in cold sore cream. Do you know of any other chapsticks or lip balms with pramoxine in them? Neosporin has a twice-as-expensive "Lip Treatment" that isn't in convenient stick form.

I emailed Blistex to ask if they were coming out with a similar product and they never replied. In the meantime, I picked up a 24-pack of Pro Relief on Amazon, but it won't last forever.

Chronic Dry, Chapped Lips

Question: What chapstick is best? My lips are chapped.
The choices are endless.
I don't care about tints or flavors or any of that crap.
I just want moist lips.
Looking for recommendations.
Simple as that.

How can I heal my chapped lips?

My lips have been extremely chapped lately. I'm guessing it's from all the time I've spent in the sun this summer. I've been using Burt's Bees Lip Balm for the last few years (which I LOVE), but lately it hasn't seem to be doing the trick and my lips are far more chapped than they have ever been before. So I guess I have two questions:

1. Does the Burt's Bees Lifeguard's Lip Balm have SPF protection in it? It says it's "weatherproof", but there doesn't seem to be a mention of SPF. I know there are other brands of chapstick that offer SPF protection, but I'd really like to stick with Burt's Bees if I can.

2. Is there something better I could be using, at least to temporarily heal the chapping? Has anyone tried the new Neosporin Lip Treatment?

How do I stop using chapstick?

I use it way too much, and find that whenever I start using less then normal, my lips quickly dry out and then crack and peel up. So I lick them, which just dries them out. I've tried to just stop using the stuff (cold turkey), but my lips just turned to sandpaper, and I couldn't stop licking them and rubbing them together, and they even got to the point where they would bleed a little. Is there anything I can do besides buying a little tube of smack? How do I stop needing to us the stuff so much?
