	<title>What is this cereal I enjoyed so much as a child in the UK?</title>

	<description>What was this cereal I enjoyed so much as a child in the UK? I lived in Britain as a small child from about 1989 to 1991 and while living there had a cereal I enjoyed but have completely forgotten the name of. The major thing I remember about it was that it had chocolate chips that I would go &apos;diving&apos; for with a spoon.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
It was probably a cereal with flakes or oats in it. I get reminiscent about it most when I&apos;m eating cereals that are sweet, kind of nutty, possibly with nut clusters in them (maybe it had little balls of nut cluster?).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
There may have been an elephant on the box, but that&apos;s an extremely vague recollection.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
What kind of cereal is this? Is it still made? Is there a way for me to get it in the US?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

	<description>Looking for a low-sugar (diabetic friendly) oat-based cereal with &quot;mass&quot; to it, preferably flakes of some sort. My S.O. is diabetic, and is constantly frustrated by a lack of breakfast cereals that are A) Diabetic friendly, B) Have some &quot;mass&quot; to them (preferably flakes of some sort), and C) are natural / organic.  We&apos;ve tried Whole Foods and Trader Joe&apos;s, but none of the flake-based cereals are safe - they all have sugar.  The safe ones are all Cheerios clones, that she doesn&apos;t like the consistency of (They aren&apos;t filling for her).&lt;br&gt;

Anyone have a brand they can recommend?</description>

	<title>Did the old Trix taste better?</title>

	<description>Did the old yellow+orange+red spheres version of Trix taste better than the current multicolored Trix or am I just looking at the past with rose tinted tastebuds? It&apos;s possible that it&apos;s just nostalgia, but when I was a kid I thought Trix tasted really great. Now it seems much more bland. I&apos;m guessing that it&apos;s just me. But if they added lots of colors to Trix then maybe they also changed the taste somewhat.&lt;br&gt;

Does anyone know if the recipe for Trix is the same now as it was 20 years ago (except for the extra colors of course)?&lt;br&gt;

	<title>Optimal Junk Cereal: Can it be done?</title>

	<description>In a box of cereal containing two objects of differing density, how does one ensure a roughly even ratio throughout the box&apos;s use?  That is to say, how do you keep the bottom of the box from being all grain and no marshmallow? Given a box of, say, Lucky Charms comprised of marshmallow bits of density &lt;i&gt;d&lt;/i&gt; and cereal bits of (for argument&apos;s sake) density 1.25&lt;i&gt;d&lt;/i&gt; and thus having a tendency to separate into layers what&apos;s the best practice for keeping the low density bits from floating on top of the high density bits?  Assume non-optimal distribution at the time of purchase -- contents may settle during shipment.  Furthermore assume equipment likely to be in the average household.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Lightly agitating the box while pouring appears to exacerbate the problem.  During the box&apos;s first few uses, the marshmallow ratio remains high, but at the cost of a high proportion of &quot;grain only&quot; spoonfuls toward the end of the box.  I want to avoid those.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Pouring out the entire box and stirring it makes it even worse.  Stirring a massive salad bowl full of cereal seems to quickly float the low density bits to the top.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I would be perfectly willing to have a lower marshmallow ratio at the top of the box if it were possible to create an approximately even distribution somehow.  But how?  How does one create a very rough macro-scale suspension of lightweight cereal bits in a medium of grain bits, and furthermore how do you keep it that way?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
You would think this problem has been addressed somewhere in various industrial processes: creation, handling and distribution of rock aggregates, soil mixes, compost, and various other mixed materials that may be prone to settling before and during use.</description>

Help me find some Oaties! Ideally locally, online would be fine, or even SOME acknowledgment of this product&apos;s existence! Description: A guy is eating cereal but his long hair keeps falling in the bowl, so he goes to the bathroom and bends over as if he&apos;s eating cereal. He cuts his hair so that it won&apos;t fall in bowl anymore. Then he goes back and eats cereal without hair in the way. The song playing in the background has lyrics that go: &lt;b&gt;&quot;The time has come for us to say &apos;sayonara.&apos;&quot;&lt;/b&gt;

I would like to know if there are any milk replacements suitable for hot and cold cereal eating that cost less than cheap generic milk.&lt;br&gt;

I like soy, rice and almond &quot;milk&quot;, but I find it too expensive for the sheer bulk quantities of grains that I eat in the form of hot and cold cereal. I prefer rice and almond milks over soy milks.&lt;br&gt;

I have eaten plenty of oats and cold cereal with what amounts to plain water, or water with a dollop of yogurt, but that usually was just because I was out of milk and too lazy to go get some or I was broke, not because it was tasty.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Part B: Why can&apos;t I buy bulk dry &quot;mix&quot; for soy, rice or almond milks like I can buy powdered milk? Is there any way to get a tolerable milk-replacement mix? This would be incredibly awesome for things like travelling, camping, and living good and cheap.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;br&gt;
I list all of this to indicate exactly how far away from &quot;milk&quot; I&apos;m willing to go. It doesn&apos;t have to taste like cow-milk. It should just taste much better than water and be cheaper than milk, hopefully with equitable nutritional values, with huge bonus points if I can buy powdered mix in bulk.&lt;br&gt;

If it had been made in China, what then?  Is this an issue of individual bowls or of country regulations?  I know in the US there are laws against lead leaching glazes.</description>
