What toys would you suggest for a cat that needs exercise but isn't motivated by treats? She does like scratching posts/beds and chin scritches, but I don't know how to work those into an active toy.

Yesterday or the day before I noticed one of my cats was squinting a little in one eye. Then she started producing thick yellow goop. This morning there was a lot more thick yellow goop. This evening I noticed the nictating membrane of that eye is a little pinker and more swollen than the other one. She is having no trouble breathing and her appetite, thirst, and energy are normal. I don't have a lot of money. How urgent is this situation?

The Mr and I are seriously considering getting a pair of kittens. We've worked out most of the logistics that this would entail to have the happiest and healthiest cats possible, but he did raise one question that hadn't been a concern with my last cat. His daughter lives in a house with 3 cats. At least one of these cats is indoor/outdoor, our cats would be strictly indoor. When his daughter comes to our house on the weekends, are we putting our cats at any risk of disease?

It's another "What's going on with my cat?" question.. and it seems like a complicated one. Before I go into it, we have taken him to the vet a few times and are not against taking him more, but I'm looking for input from you guys.

You Are Not My Vet Filter: My 10-year-old Siamese has had a weeping right eye for the past few weeks. He's otherwise frisky and healthy as ever, but I find myself cleaning his right eye three or four times a day. I'm stymied; has anyone experienced a "single-eye" weeping issue? There's no sneezing or appearance of illness. What's a good treatment?
