I just upgraded my phone to a Samsung S5. I'd like to protect it, but since it's already on the big side I'd like to get a case that balances slimness and protection. I already have a screen shield on it, so something that plays nice with that would be appreciated. Price range is between 10 and 25 dollars. Availability on Amazon a huge plus.
I like to read in bed, and I'd like a recommendation for a Kindle Paperwhite cover that will prop up the Kindle in landscape mode so I can read in bed without holding it up. [more inside]
Tomorrow I get my new iphone 6. What is the most indestructible case I can buy? [more inside]
I just got a new video card, the Gigabyte R9 270X. At 297mm it's too big for my current case! I would love suggestions on the best case to upgrade to. [more inside]
I've broken my second e-ink reader in as many years, by cracking the screen. Both breaks have the same basic cause: I forgot it was there and leaned on it. The second time was just for a second and not with that much weight, but it still cracked. And, of course, that means it is completely gone. Both readers were a full-size Kobo Touch. Are these readers more prone to crack than other e-ink devices? [more inside]
I am browsing cases in Canada, and noticed several cited "Unreported" cases. The "Unreported" have a year, last name and the general offense. No results when I try to search for them on canlii.org. The provincial court has told me they can't look it up without a first name. Can anyone advise on how I should proceed with my research?
Looking for a classy leather case for my new iPad mini with Retina display. Apple's Smart Cover is proving to be fairly flimsy and cheap. I'm looking at the StilGut Couverture leather case and Apple's own Smart Case - any other cases I should be thinking about?
I need a new case for my Surface Pro 2 and power cover keyboard. My current sleeve is squishy enough that the power button on top sometimes gets pushed while it's in my backpack, leading to overheating and battery draining. I want this to stop. Snowflakes inside. [more inside]
OK this really shouldn't be that hard to find. I have an iPad mini and a keyboard. Now I need a case to hold both of them. Every keyboard case that I find, already has the keyboard with the case. I don't need that--I need an empty case that can hold the iPad mini and the mini keyboard that I already have. Thanks
I recently picked up a set of these behind-head earphones. The frame is plastic and I'm worried that they might get broken if they're folded up and stuffed in a bag or my pocket. Help me find an appropriate carrying solution? [more inside]
I'm looking for Moleskine cases that fit the 13x21cm aka large size like you can get a case for a hardcover bible. Something that holds the cover itself and also has space for a pen or two, at the very least, though I also often need to carry discs and other small things around. Not something like this. I've looked but I feel like I'm poking around the edges of the search unsuccessfully.
I hired a marine contractor in Rhode Island to build a pair of centerboards for my boat ($12k). They were delivered 3 months late and didn't fit. I was very clear about the dimensions, yet the builder's designer altered the shape without consulting me. They've admitted fault in emails and in person, apologized, yet won't make the situation better. They offered a refund if I pay shipping charges to/from, customs and excise, and any damages. I don't feel I should pay $2k out of pocket and end up with nothing. What do I do to get justice? Report them to the Better Business Bureau? Hire a lawyer? Go to court or arbitration? Say mean things about them and buy a voodoo doll? Am I entitled to damages beyond the $12k? Any advice welcome.
My latest annoyance is that this used iPhone 4s that I bought has the headphone jack on the top. This makes getting it in and out of my jacket pocket and holding it annoying for me. And I can't just turn the phone upside down like an iPad does. Is there such thing as a case that either replicates the headphone jack on the bottom, or has its own built-in headphones originating from the bottom? I found this one but the headphone cord still comes out of the top. Alternatively, recommendations for bluetooth headphones that have comparable good battery life and sound quality to the plugged-in kind.
I bought an item on ebay, and didn't receive it. Tracking shows it was returned to sender about 10 days after shipment, from a post office in my state, but about 100 miles away. I followed the ebay instructions for what to do when a purchase was not received, contacting the seller by opening a case. Seller agreed to just give me a refund rather than re shipping. Now they say I need to declare the case resolved before they're able to issue the refund. This can't be right, can it? [more inside]
My dad recently showed me a little knick-knack he inherited a while back. I'm not sure if it was from his dad or his maternal uncle, but they were around the same age (born in the nineteen teens/twenties). It's a Liberty Head dollar coin and two dice in an acrylic casing. What is it? [more inside]
Good news, everybody! I got a new Moto X smart phone, and now I want to make it as stylish and durable as possible. What's the best compromise between keeping it protected and making it look good? [more inside]
We think our lawyer, who has been working our case for over two years, may be incompetent, but we find it hard to determine for sure. He seems very compliant in regard to the other side, while being subject to brush-offs and delaying tactics from the other side. Even if he is incompetent, we're not sure what's involved in changing lawyers. Perhaps you can shed some light on this. [more inside]
I just got a new Kobo Aura e-reader for a trip I'm about to take. Ordinarily, I'd check out Etsy for a creative case, but this is new offering from Kobo, so it's a different size than the previous Kobo Aura HD. Anyone know of good options? I'm open to a standard protective case, or more interesting and unique models.
I am making a small felt sleeve for an antique pocket knife, to protect it from car-keys and loose change. Easy enough. I'd like to add a clip to it so it can discretely ride at the top of my front pants pocket or shirt pocket for quick access, like some eyeglasses cases have. Insanely difficult. Are such clips sold anywhere for crafters, or am I stuck cutting, bending and polishing my own from sheet metal? How do I even go about attaching such a thing to a felt sheath?

I've been using this case for my iPhone 4 for about a year now. Here's what I like about it: it doesn't cover the screen; it doesn't compromise the camera lens or flash; it is a smooth material that doesn't snag on my pocket (unlike, say, rubber); and most importantly, it has slots for credit cards that are very easily accessible. Here's what I don't like about it: all of the available colors are boring or ugly. Is there an iPhone 4 case out there that satisfies everything I love about this one but is more aesthetically interesting? At this point I would even consider different solid colors more interesting. (The one thing I am not willing to compromise on is card slots, so please don't recommend that. I know I'm being a brat.)
after breaking my iPhone 4S screen twice in a short amount of time, it's obvious I need a new case. But it's never that easy.... [more inside]

iphone case filter: My friend has an iphone 4s. He likes that the rubbery silcon case means it doesn't slide around if he puts it down somewhere. (For example - the little wooden ledge to hold your drinks in the dart room at the pub.) However, he does not like that when he pulls it out of his pocket, it pulls everything with it. Is there a case that might meet the grippy requirements when placed on a surface yet slide out of the pants pocket more easily?
Are there any iPhone 4 cases that feature Han Solo frozen in carbonite that are sculpted/3d, and not printed? The only one I've managed to find is this, which seems a little dicey.
I just bought an iPad 4, and (since I rarely spend this much on myself) I'm really paranoid about taking care of it. All the special snowflake details inside... [more inside]
I can't believe I'm using a question on this but please school me on something very basic, again. For the first time as an adult, I own sunglasses that did not come from the drugstore and cost $12. Not very expensive, but expensive enough, especially for me, if you know what I mean. (And medically necessary.) I'm too cheap to even want to think about having to replace these in the next few years. [more inside]
I have noticed that in most portable gun cases which are hard plastic on the outside with a foam core inside there seems to be pieces of shiny glass embedded in the foam. I have only noticed this in gun case foam not other types of foam for example, the foam inside couch cushions or bedding. Why would they put glass inside gun case foam?
I am looking to get my Mom and iPad sleeve or carrier, to protect it from kicks, drops, scratches and whatnot while it is in her purse. There seem to be about a zillion of these around, in so many styles that my head spins, but I think what I want is along the lines of this. The problem is it also needs to fit a Logitech Ultra Thin Keyboard Cover as well as the iPad, and I can't read that from the specs page. Does anyone have experience using a similar Bluetooth keyboard/cover with a sleeve and can recommend one that works? I'd like something small, and not aesthetically unpleasing, because Mom is going to be much more concerned about if it is light and looks nice then if she can throw it off a building. That said, I am buying it to protect the iPad. [more inside]

Why is the Sandusky trial moving so quickly? In my area the high profile cases seem to take months, if not years, to come to trial, and then the trials themselves take weeks or months. Sandusky's trial started last week and I believe the judge told the jury that they will likely have the case on Thursday. Explain? [more inside]
I'm trying to find a slim case for Asus Transfomer Prime. Slimmer the better. I really like the iPad2 case. Silicon material like iPad case is preferred over leather. This would be ideal, but the reviews are not that good. Thanks.

iPad 2 like iPad cover? I was on the train and saw a guy with an iPad. The cover folded over like an iPad 2 cover, with the difference being that the entire back was a plastic case that snapped on. Does anyone know where to find this?

I have a all wheel drive vehicle. A number of years ago all four tires were replaced , they have never been rotated. Now the fronts will not pass inspection but the rears probably have about 40% of tread left. I understand that one can ruin the transfer case if one runs different sized tires on this and many other all wheel drives. I would like to buy two of the exact same tires, which are still available, and put those on the back and put the old tires on the front. Do you think that the difference in diameter between the new tires and the partially worn ones will cause a problem with the drive train?
I'm looking for a case for my 3rd generation iPod Touch. I have a screen protector and don't use a case when I'm at home, but for work I've been using the Marware CEO case, but it's falling apart. I would like something similar to this: leather, covers the entire ipod (not just the back/sides), easy to take in and out, and access to the charging plug and volume controls. [more inside]
