I think I have a cockroach infestation in my car. I've only seen a few of them so far, but I want to stop this before they multiply. I've had a look at other threads dealing with cockroaches in houses, but has anyone had any experience with them in cars before? I could bug bomb the car, but I'm worried about overdoing it, as a car is so much smaller that a house, and also, would it be dangerous from an explosive point of view? Also, should I be worried about cockroaches hitching a ride from the car into my apartment when I carry shopping, etc around and then bring it inside?

My 2001 Mazda Protege automatic locks don't seem to be working properly. When I press the remote, it only unlocks the driver side door. But when I press the remote to lock it, it'll lock every door. It isn't the fuse, because it is still working. So.. I'm not sure if this is some security feature i accidentally turned on, or if it is some sort of short in the automatic lock.

My girlfriend drives a 2004 Ford Focus that is insured by her mother, but my gf pays her for it. The title and registration are also in her mothers name, but the loan is in my girlfriend's name with her mom as a cosigner. My girlfriend has made 100% of the loan payments (as well as minor repairs).
Recently my girlfriends mom has begun to demand that she turn over the vehicle because it is "hers", but has now decided to try to cancel her insurance but cannot do so due to not having the plates to the car. My girlfriend is now living in fear and worrying that her mother is going to come over to our house and take the plates off the car. Her mother has also threatened to report the car as STOLEN.

A few days ago, I traded in two cars at a Toyota dealership. I signed contracts detailing trade-in, down payments, and monthly payments.
Today, the dealership called and said that Toyota Financial wants a bigger down payment, and to remedy the situation, they will issue me a credit card for XX dollars, but my monthly payments will be reduced by XX dollars, so in the end I will be paying the same amount.
Is this a scam? Or is the dealer just trying to maximize their profit? Is this a common practice? Can the dealer nullify the contracts and force me to return these cars?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Geely.
Geely has apparently has only been manufacturing cars since 1989. This makes me hesitant, even though the BBC report on the sale states:
Industry observers say the sale is good news for Volvo. Am I over thinking this, or is the ownership of a car company irrelevant?

While performing routine maintenance on my car, my mechanic noticed a hum coming from the (standard) transmission. He then changed the transmission fluid and noticed pieces of metal when draining the old fluid out. Crap. This car only has 85,000 miles. How many more can I realistically get out of it?
