I want to buy an aftermarket car stereo that supports streaming audio over a USB connection. I want the audio to be streamed over USB so that I can play audio from Pandora and Google Navigation through the car stereo.

I think my 1993 Toyota Celica will only last another few years, so I don't want to install a new stereo system in it, but the existing speakers are blown and I gotta have some decent way to play music. Can you suggest other alternatives? Mostly interested in playing music from my smartphone, not really concerned with FM radio or CDs. Thanks!

Today I had a wired fm modulator installed in my 2003 Lexus ES300. The one used was the "Farenheit Phase Lock Loop FM Modulator (EFM-01 / EFM01)." My issue seems to be that when the music is quiet/not busy, it comes through clear, but when the sounds pick up I get some seriously bad buzzing/distortion.

The factory-installed stereo in my car has stopped playing CDs, and my commute is fairly long, so this is essentially unacceptable. I've looked into getting it repaired, but the whole stereo'll have to be sent away for weeks, and it'll end up costing a bunch. But I've yet to find an add-on in-dash stereo for $200 or less that isn't terribly ugly.

What's a good tape adapter for use in my car? I'm using it to listen to my Rio Karma MP3 player. My second adapter is dying, and I need a new one. Both times, the cable seemed to wear out where it meets the plug into the MP3 player. How can I avoid that?
