In the last few days I've received this message when trying to watch local content on CBC or Radio Canada: "The requested video cannot be displayed in your region". Perplexed because I am actually in Canada. Has my IP address been compromised? Is there a somewhat easy not too techy fix out there.

Just converted a Typepad blog to Wordpress 2.5, now users get a 404 when they try to view single posts (or categories) if they're not logged on as admin... The posts on the homepage show up, but no where else...

Two XP questions in a row! Does anybody know how to remove the "Windows cannot open this file" dialog box that offers a web service? I'd like this to act like it did in previous versions of Windows, just going directly to the "Choose the program you want to use to open this file" dialog. Google has failed me.

"Can not" vs. "cannot": intuitively, the former seems to mean "one is permitted to not" while the latter means "not allowed to". But I've seen both used both ways. So what's the correct usage?
